Had major Marfa fomo this weekend, it was my favorite event last year and I was unable to attend with the arrival of our next little one only a couple of weeks away. Was shocked and stoked to see the sickest drone show that enabled myself and @tyguyot to be there in spirit!! Thank you so much for including us @AdamWeitsman the entire weekend looked absolutely INSANE!

🚨 Update for the loyal citizens of Vibetown 🚨 Badges are still the ALPHA In parallel to moods - we’re working to modern the rewards program & how gumbustions work, changes will be coming 👀 There will be tie-ins between the two collections as part of our master plan, and i'm very excited 🤙

1/ Another fun way to use Moods + your OG GVCs with AI is facial expression replacement. The below example was created in Google Flow (Nano Banana), but most image generation engines should work just as well. The one thing to keep an eye on is the overall scale of the facial expression as it pertains to the original design; Sometimes AI can scale up (or down) and lead to inaccurate results, so best to give it a few tries and visually match scale. Prompt below 👇

4/ Moods automatically change their expression daily. The same character will look very different from one day to the next. Here’s how that could look across nine days.

2/ Note: Replace the bracketed items with the corresponding filenames. PROMPT: "Change the facial expression of [insert GVC filename] to [insert moods filename]. Keep everything else about [insert GVC filename] the same.

Expanding the expression range for all of the Citizens of Vibetown has been something that we've been hard at work at for a little over a year now. Maximizing the range of emotions within the stories that can be told is extremely important to us. Really stoked to share more soon. Moods.

Apefest was freakin' awesome. The event itself was executed flawlessly (s/o @mfigge @BoredApeYC ), it was insane to visit @beeple's legendary studio and see/experience the immense history there, but the sickest part by far was simply the people. Despite all of the dope bells and whistles (s/o armored fighting mma dudes, that slapped), the best of it all BY FAR was the IRL relationship connections. Connecting with people who share an immense passion for our space and FINALLY putting a face to the digital PFP honestly feels like reuniting with an old pal, except you're (in some cases) just meeting them for the first time. Relationships + community will forever be the secret sauce. Apefest #1 in the books. 🤙
