Their face when someone asks me, “what are you?” or “where are you from?” and I answer with “America(n).” (Quick tip: Ask the question the same way for anyone. “Ethnic background” might save us an uncomfortable exchange where one is inadvertently made to feel like an outsider.)
Enlightened on 'The Health Trust Gap and How to Fix It' at #SXSW2021. I got #intouchwith the insightful perspectives of @iamdrnatalia @jessicamalaty @KristenBell and @ejsimcox. It's time to enhance communication of the med/science industry to rebuild from the distrust and trauma.
Non-verbal communication is a huge deal. @kaliouby is talking about some amazing things in the future of emotion AI. Even venturing to use it to help those on the autistic spectrum. #intouchwith the future at #SXSW2021
@harari_yuval @missmayim & Niko Woischnik discussed why we fear innovation at #SXSW2021 "I don't think there's a single technology in history that only has positive potential." (Yuval) "It's OK to be skeptical." (Mayim)

Listening to @scottbelsky and @debbiemillman at #SXSW2021 on impacts to creativity during crisis reminded me that struggle can lead to even more imaginative ideas when you teach yourself to love and embrace change. #intouchwith the best of creativity still to come.
Stacey Abrams at #sxsw2021 just brought up a question that people of color are asked in politics (and the workforce) that others aren't, which is, "are you qualified?" This is microaggression at work. We can shift our mindset and get #intouchwith a better future.
Listened to the brilliant Baratunde Thurston talk at #SXSW2021 Brands, take a simple action: Trust the people in your audience. Be #intouchwith "Brands Who Want To Help Us Be Free"
