Abstract yet hard hitting piece. How this manifests. No idea.

Invert. Citrini's article cemented market consensus (these ideas been kicking around for years on X).
The AI destruction common knowledge game is revving up.

X alpha is at all-time lows. When large accounts post an article that's basically affirming market consensus, X finance hivemind has freaked two times now (@Citrini7 and @mattshumer_ ) Back to YahooFinance conversations I go.

Anything frontier will eventually get to consumer use. Might take protests, moving jurisdictions, leaks, etc. When demand is high enough, human history shows containment never lasts.
Next meta is pretty clear: Chinese ai guys bragging about distills fast following every big release There will be corporate only models of Opus and GPT and what is available to enterprise vs individuals will completely diverge The narrative will move from “all software companies are zeros” to “consumer is zero bc they’re on worse models and won’t ever get to better models bc if they do Chinese labs will insta distill everything” And this isn’t even accounting for national security which makes this even more likely (see: Anthropic socials posting about bioweapons regularly) The idea that AGI is going to be accessible via api call is extremely wrong - and is also currently consensus.

Post WBD $NFLX will drop the most addictive AI assisted content and double FCF. The masses will mainline it. Distribution, IP, plus AI gives you a story mode gaming studio.

If someone you follow reposts a clearly generative AI image or video and suggests it's real, you might want to reconsider that follow. Reveals the level of diligence they put into their posting broadly. Many such cases.

"Claude for PowerPoint" is painful. Don't get me wrong. I understand that progress includes an interim period of incumbent tools getting the AI treatment, but it will be brief. Very brief. Ping me when we get "Claude for Mavis Beacon"
The volume of the kinds of releases that actually impact real work has been accelerating. In the past couple days that includes OpenAI Frontier & new Deep Research, Claude for Powerpoint and Cowork for Windows, and the wider release of the solid Claude-powered MS agent for Excel.

Rebranding Fiverr, Freelancer, Angieslist, Uber Courier, OF, cam sites, etc. is AI innovation now haha. Nah it's cool, but your agents can access better people on the many existing platforms using a browser. Hopefully stuff like this spurs more APIs.
I launched rentahuman.ai last night and already 130+ people have signed up including an OF model (lmao) and the CEO of an AI startup. If your AI agent wants to rent a person to do an IRL task for them its as simple as one MCP call.

VC coins usually suck, but it's just a fundamentally different value proposition--short-term SaaS/fiat rails. Cypherpunk values (privacy, decentralization, encryption) are real, long-term, durable features. If dominoes start to fall, the flight to safety won't be XRP.
crypto is not just a 'technology', it makes almost no sense when divorced from cypherpunk values yet some of the richest & most influential believe it's completely possible and desirable to divorce it from those values they view it as just 'rails' very strange....

Please, no one ask this question again. Two years of it was enough. AI raises both floor and ceiling. That's it. Printing press, internet...you know the deal. High-agency folks' ability compounds the most. Speculate on AI resistant skills instead.
Is AI leveling the playing field or helping top talent pull even further ahead? If the average engineer becomes ~10x more productive with AI, what happens at the top of the distribution? Does the best engineer become 100x more effective? My intuition is that AI flattens the middle and left side of the talent curve raising baseline output while steepening the right tail Top performers compound their advantages and end up capturing a disproportionate share of the value because you outsource most execution to AI agents. Power law dynamics To what extent does this dynamic play out in other roles beyond engineering? How does AI reshape the talent–productivity curve overall both in terms of slope and shifts in the distribution?

If by 2026, you still ask generic questions like this to the ether, I recommend you stop whatever the hell you do every day and buckle down on integrating AI into your life for two weeks (use PTO or whatever). Only retirees who humbly are waiting to die get a pass.
Okay, I think I really should learn to use agentic AI tools, but I have questions. I'd mostly like to use them for academic work that involves statistical analysis/modeling. I already use ChatGPT to think about the best way to analyze data or model a phenomenon and as a kind of StackExchange/StackOverflow on steroids to answer questions I have about to write small pieces of code doing a very specific thing. Ideally, I'd like to keep doing the first part as before, basically having a conversation with a LLM on various options to analyze data or model a phenomenon until I'm satisfied that I have found the best approach, but then it would be great if I could somehow give an agent access to the relevant data files, their documentation and it would write the code for the analysis from scratch based on the conclusion of our earlier discussion. It would also be great, in cases where the data don't exist in a readily exploitable format yet, if it could analyze PDF/Word documents and browse the web to collect the data and create CSV files or whatever in the right format based on the information they contain so I don't have to do that manually, before writing the code that will use those data to do the analysis I want to do. Claude Code seems to be all the rage at the moment, but I have no idea how to use it, so I was wondering if anyone knew a good tutorial that would teach me how to use to do that with it. I would much prefer it to be in the form of a blog post or a series of blog posts because I hate videos, but if you know a really great video for the kind of things I want to do with it I will consider it. Also, I already have a subscription to ChatGPT Plus and I'd rather not subscribe to a Claude plan in addition to that unless I have to, so I'm wondering if Codex would be a practical alternative to do the kind of work I just described.

Correction: Just another "Indian Subcontinent" dude Positive spin: A man knows what a man wants. If Sanjay provides the value of a real woman's parasocial relationship at a lower cost, this increases the consumer surplus. e/acc.
Back to the default assumption. There are no women on the internet. Just another dude. It's always just another dude.

Get with the program. This has been going on for decades. Just more widespread now. CT, FinTwit, and tech bros just discovered peptides. What happened to edge? If anything, this is a counter-trade signal. Short kings are the SCV of Looksmaxxing now. Buy low!
Everyone should wake up to this trend. Yes, rich people are making their kids taller.

All my homies hate BitLicense RIP Bittrex
.@Square Bitcoin is available in all states except for New York due to the NYDFS' BitLicense requirement. For those who are unaware, the BitLicense was passed in June 2015 and it has boxed New Yorkers out of quality bitcoin products and services since it went into effect.

" 'This is like the Mandela effect of finance, which is this just common population, collective mis-impression of what’s going on,' Lipschultz said. It’s like thinking the Monopoly guy has a monocle, or Pikachu’s tail being black, though neither are true, he said." Co-CEO of Blue Owl pulling out all the stops on the earnings call. Only Pikachu can assuage market fears of private credit defaults.
