We do this together 🇳🇬
You don use your hand to spoil your own life. Pẹlẹ tiẹ 😂
One of the biggest problems many Muslims don't notice is the WHY factor.
People now always want to know: why did Allah ﷻ allow this for her but not for me?
Why this ruling when we see that? Why, why, why…
This is a huge problem in your 'aqeedah and in your understanding of Islam.
You believe Allah ﷻ is al-'Alim (the All-Knowing) and al-Hakim (the All-Wise), the Creator and Sustainer of everything. Yet you only feel comfortable once YOU know why He said something?
To be clear, asking about the wisdom behind a ruling in order to learn is fine.
The disease is when your obedience depends on the answer.
The believer obeys first, whether or not he ever finds out the wisdom.
"It is not for a believing man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have any choice in their affair" (33:36)
"The only saying of the believers, when called to Allah and His Messenger, is that they say: we hear and we obey" (24:51)
"He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned" (21:23)
Islam never contradicts sound reason. But reason follows the revelation. It doesn't sit in judgement over it.
Our generation and the ones coming are being taught Islam on a "does it make sense to me?" basis, when Islam is built on: Allah said, the Messenger ﷺ said. We hear and we obey.
Do you know who first put his own logic above Allah's command? Iblis.
"I am better than him: You created me from fire and him from clay" (7:12).
He had logic, and it took him straight out of Allah's mercy.
So what happens when someone lives as a "Muslim" for 20–30 years and then finds rulings that don't make sense to him?
You get what you see today:
"Muslim feminist," "progressive Muslim," "secular Muslim," "British Muslim first."
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"If the religion were based on opinion, the bottom of the khuff would be more deserving of wiping than the top. But I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wipe the top" (Abu Dawud, sahih).
So where is the logic in:
•passing wind from one place, and washing your face, arms and feet?
•Fajr being 2 rak'ahs, Maghrib 3, Dhuhr 4?
•2 prayers recited silently and 3 aloud?
•eating camel meat breaking your wudu, but not lamb (Muslim)?
•the menstruating woman making up her missed fasts, but not her missed prayers?
A woman asked 'Aishah about that last one:
why fasts and not prayers?
'Aishah said: "Are you a Haruri?" (meaning one of the Khawarij).
“We were commanded to make up the fasts, and not commanded to make up the prayers" (Muslim).
That was the answer. Not a lecture on logic. Just: we were commanded.
'Umar kissed the Black Stone and said:
"I know you are a stone. You neither harm nor benefit. Had I not seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kiss you, I would not have kissed you" (Bukhari).
That's the religion of the Sahabah. They didn't make obedience wait until they understood.
If your iman only holds when every ruling makes sense to you, then what you're worshipping is your own mind, not Allah.
Submit, and the understanding will come, or it won't. Either way, you've succeeded.

NIGERIANS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🇳🇬
INEC has restricted the amount of time each person can spend on its website, so we need as many people as possible to help with this exercise.
Here’s what we’re doing:
We’re counting the number of registered voters in each polling unit for 2027 and comparing it with the number of registered voters in that same polling unit in 2023.
INEC won’t show us the full register, so we have to do this ourselves, one polling unit at a time.
Here’s how you can help. It takes just 60 seconds!
STEP 1: Go to this link ⤵️
check.nigeriaelects.com
STEP 2: Copy the code generated where it says “Your Polling Unit”. It’s the code containing numbers and dashes.
STEP 3: Go to the INEC website and scroll down to “Find a Polling Unit”.
Paste the code you copied into the PU Code box and click “Find”.
STEP 4: The polling unit information will appear, including the number of registered voters.
Copy ONLY the number of registered voters (the whole number, without the dashes).
STEP 5: Return to the first website, paste the number into the space provided for registered voters and click Submit.
That’s all!
See the attached video for a visual guide.
60 seconds of your time can help us build a clearer picture of what’s happening with our voters’ register.
Please participate and share this with other Nigerians. The more people who help, the more polling units we can cover.
Let’s get to work! 🇳🇬

🚨 THE UK IS PREPARING FOR SOMETHING BIG? 🇬🇧⚠️
First, 72-hour emergency warnings. Now, the BBC’s backup radio studio with 100 staff.
Hey @grok, what are they REALLY preparing for?

This is EXACTLY how those with deliberate malign intent have managed to manipulate the ignorant. Politics is broken to the point where it’s become dangerous to the wellbeing of society.
It’s why over the centuries religion has been the source of so much human suffering. Politicians have long since understood that enlisting the opiate of the masses is the magic sauce to drive hate and division.
Christian fundamentalists are no different from Islamic fundamentalists. Republicans have decided religious wars are their new culture wars, don’t fall for their propaganda.

Right there!
I used to be a language lawyer. In the late 80s I _studied_ the ARM (Annotated Reference Manual for C++). I knew the language cold, inside and out. I could make it do backflips. I shipped a lot of code using it. A LOT.
I’ve attacked other languages with a similar intensity and depth. Until recently, that was simply the only way to become adept at building software systems.
I now consider the deep understanding of a language to be a supreme waste of time and effort. I don’t want to learn Rust, or Golang, or Typescript, or any of the thousands of other languages out there. I’ll leave that to my agents.
What I need now is to understand the high level gestalt of the system. I want to see the systems and subsystems. I don’t need to inspect the cogs. If I truly need to understand a detail at the cog level, I’ll interrogate my agents. I’m not going to pretend to be a language expert anymore.
