A little jealous of everyone who was at Macklemore’s Free Palestine tour opener in Dublin. The way he grabbed that kufiyeh, the way he gave Palestinians in Gaza living under Israel’s brutal killing machine a platform to speak directly to the crowd… and having Kneecap and Hozier there too.
Yeah, I’m a lil choked up 🥲🇵🇸❤️
Thank U @macklemore
Thank U @KNEECAPCEOL
Thank U @Hozier
The significance of this is huge.
Only weeks after being thrown off the @edsheeran tour, @macklemore was able to fill Ireland's biggest arena on his 'Free Palestine' tour.
Young Irish people showed an outpouring of solidarity with a people who have suffered for far too long.

As expected, the Palestinian woman, Shaymaa Abudalu has successfully forced the Department of Justice to reconsider the denial of a visa to come to Ireland to study. The Department of Justice must now reconsider the application in the next 10 days.
No response yet from Dept of Justice, or what this means for the other 40-odd challenges to denials of visas. We should hear later.
This Palestinian was represented by Phoenix Law. There is no court record for the case, and because of technology issues at @CourtsServiceIE, we can't even see the ruling.
Judgement Day today for the first challenge by a Palestinian woman, Shaymaa Abudalu in the High Court in Dublin after she was denied a visa to live & study in Ireland.
There is no court record for the case, her solicitors weren’t identified at the hearing last week.
The betting is, the decision for the denial of the visa will be quashed and the Department of Justice will be ordered to re-consider the application, but we need wait and see.
There are believed to be around 40 additional applications which will be affected by today’s lead case decision.

Dare I say the Free Palestine @macklemore gig is one of the best I’ve ever been to
If you are a child in a tent in #Gaza what difference will today's election make?
Even if the leader who is wanted for using starvation as a method of war is beaten, he will lose to another Zionist who does not see you as a human being worthy of respect, dignity, and a future.

In normal times, a good journalist would tell his audience that at least 2000 Palestinians were killed during Olmert’s tenure and over 8000 others were injured.
But we are living in a time where Sky News is considered a reliable news outlet and Yalda Hakim is a journalist.
"Are we a group of thugs that are prepared to expel generations from where they live in order to annex territories?"
Former Israeli PM Ehud Olmert tells @SkyYaldaHakim Israel’s general election is a fight for the country’s soul.

This video is not old - it was taken on October 24th, 2026, in Gaza.

Why are people desperate for a bag of bread after the closure of borders for a few days only? Here’s what the international media is NOT telling you:
- The military occupation allows a maximum of 200 trucks in per day, instead of the 600 minimum needed. So what enters is barely enough for two million people for a few days.
- A lot of the trucks entering have luxury items instead of basic needs like chocolate, instant noodles, fizzy drinks and coal! Rebuilding material, medical equipment, and caravans are prohibited.
- Palestinians in Gaza can’t store much food because there are no fridges or freezers, and due to the lack of space in tents.
- HUGE reduction of community kitchens and food packages from international organizations like WFP and WCK, and the alleged reason is lack of funds.
- Around 90% of Palestinians in Gaza don’t have consistent income and rely fully on community kitchens to survive.
- The military occupation facilitates war profiteering and theft by the militias at the yellow line who steal tents and tarps, and sell them for high prices. Also some traders store tents and wait till it rains to sell at higher prices.
The fact that a video like this is emerging from Gaza in its fourth year in genocide is a testament to our failure. Each and every one of us outside the Gaza Strip holds responsibility towards this horrific scene.

Where is the law? Apparently, no where to be found in this case of political persecution.

Left: President Trump insults Norway calling it a sh*thouse country
Right: Visit Norway, the tourism board, trolls President Trump, displaying some of their best toilets on their Instagram 😅
My view:
Trump chose to insult Norway. Visit Norway answered with humour, confidence and a showcase of its most beautiful loos.
That’s how you turn an insult into an invitation. Congratulations to Norway for responding with such grace - and giving us another reason to visit.
I've never been to Norway, but this is just another reason to visit 😁

#BBCBreakfast's report on the Israeli election mentions Netanyahu 5 times
But you know what isn't mentioned? The fact that he's wanted for using starvation as a method of war, intentionally directing attacks against civilians, & extermination/murder as a crime against humanity

I can explain, because 'they' told me why.
They argue that the GAA is lesser than rugby and soccer because it's not known worldwide. My argument was that its Irishness should give it special treatment, but no, 'they' really just wanted a reason not to.
Wait, there's more..
Watched @bbcnewsline tonight for a report on the Derry SFC final & the other games played over the weekend. A grand total of 44 seconds spent on it, no mention of any other county finals played over the weekend either. Unreal!

It's frankly embarrassing listening to those who claim to be educated on the subject, wishing & hoping for a Netanyahu ousting...
Have you learned nothing over the past three (and 78) years??!
It matters not who runs the colonial project. The project itself must be ended.

Green MSP Kate Nevens and SNP MP Lara Bird have been kidnapped by Israel for trying to enter Palestine.
The Prime Minister should be demanding their immediate release.
In January 2024, the Wall Street Journal spread false Israeli smears accusing UNRWA workers in Gaza of joining the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
This resulted in the decimation of UN aid and widespread starvation in the tiny strip.
Israel refused to provide any evidence.
