a deeper dive into a potential trade candidate: hjalte froholdt, c arizona (past 3 seasons grades)
- overall graded 69.8
- graded at 70.7 as a run blocker
- graded at 66.4 as a pass blocker
- allowed 7 sacks in the last 3 seasons total (via PFF)
- allowed 1 sack this past season in 788 pass pro snaps (1st in the league in pass pro snaps)
this past season, froholdt had a 2.54% pressure rate, ranking 10th in the nfl (via @daniel_rotman15 )
for reference, lions center graham glasgow had a 3.68% pressure rate, ranking 22nd in the league.
the obvious connection is new #Lions OC Drew Petzing being with froholdt in arizona and cleveland the year before that. would be a great scheme fit and could help implement and teach some of the terminology petzing will be implementing.
if the lions are wanting to bring in a veteran center and are unable to find one via free agency, i would love this pickup.
