M4 iPad Pro: has 12GB RAM, but Apple’s artificially locked it to 8GB iPad mini 8: has a 120Hz display, but Apple’s artificially locked it to 60Hz i don’t care if it’s LTPS or LTPO, they should let the user decide the refresh rate Apple can’t keep getting away with this. They already gatekeep a ton of software features for no valid reason, and now they’re locking down hardware too?

New information is coming out that the new iPad mini's OLED display could actually be a 120 Hz panel. And that Apple artificially locked the refresh rate to 60 Hz via software. If true, this is DIABOLICAL 💀💀💀

Interestingly most good phones that are around 100 bucks are all from 2020-21 Even iphones The difference is while iphone have 3/64gb, samsung offers are here with 6/128gb ximi hovers around 8/256gb and idk who hurt oneplus, but for 100€ you can easily get 12/256...

For 100€ i could find many oneplus 8Ts, 9s and even one 9pro. These phonese were great, but i want to find at least the 10... I mean a few months ago i found a fcking xiaomi 13 for 100€!! Sadly i was too late and i couldnt get it :(

also for reference i am ONLY considering phone with current lineage os support. I dont want to give somebody a device with absolutly no future and security and vs current midrange the 865 in these phones are very competitive. the 865 is on par with the 7gen3 (about 350€ phones)

also it doesnt compete with these fast midrange cpus anyways for this little money, the 865 12/256 competes with the Unisoc T765 3/64gb brand new the 865 is about 3-5x faster and with the massive ram/storage advantage in both mass and speed, it destroys the budget phones...
