Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney visits Atatürk’s mausoleum in Ankara, laying a wreath, observing a moment of silence and signing the guestbook.
Netanyahu:
You know, you can't have a leader of Israel who's not a major player on the international arena.
We're not, with no offense, we're not Austria with F-16s. You know, Austria is about our size in terms of population. That's not what we are.
We're in the eye of the hurricane. And we have to be very strong and very smart and very experienced.
Netanyahu on Iran:
We've done it before, and we'll do it now and bring the final blow.
Either we destroy them or they destroy us.
That's what the voters have to decide on.
Netanyahu on Iran:
They were going to basically manufacture several atom bombs to destroy Israel, wipe us all out, annihilate us, vaporize us.
So we had to act, and we did.

Many civilians were injured, and buildings were damaged.

Türkiye’s top defense company, ASELSAN, says its KORKUT air defense gun can destroy a kamikaze drone for less than $10,000, and the system is now deployed in nine countries, including Ukraine.
ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol said the system has shot down “maybe hundreds of drones.”
He said it is operating in Gulf countries and in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. Ukraine’s air force confirmed that one of its units uses the KORKUT.
The KORKUT’s rounds cost about $1,000 apiece.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to arrive in Ankara today, the first bilateral visit to Türkiye by a Canadian leader, as he seeks to reduce Canada’s reliance on the United States.
He is set to meet President Erdogan and sign a declaration deepening cooperation in areas including defense and energy.
A Turkish diplomatic source said ties will be upgraded to a “strategic partnership.”
Carney is on a global trade push to shield Canada from Trump’s tariffs.
He aims to double Canada’s non-U.S. exports within a decade.
The two leaders launched free-trade talks at the NATO summit in Ankara in July.
Türkiye is looking for investment in its defense industry, nuclear power plants and mining sector.

Netanyahu:
Itamar Ben-Gvir will be a senior minister in any government we form.
There is no question about that.
Q: We have heard countries like Saudi Arabia making the establishment of a Palestinian state a condition.
Netanyahu: Guys, if you believe that nonsense... Yes, publicly they say that. I don't want to tell you what I'm hearing.
In the Arab world, they care about the Palestinians about as much as you do.
Netanyahu:
With Obama, who told me not to build even a single brick beyond the Green Line, we almost doubled the population in the West Bank.
So please, don't tell me how to do it.
Netanyahu:
I have done very difficult things. I stood up to three presidents who were not friendly. One was very hostile.
Clinton, Obama and Biden.
Netanyahu on Gaza:
As for control, I said control will always be ours. We are not going to leave this territory.
NEW: Netanyahu says he is working "a great deal" with third-party countries to facilitate the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
"The problem is the countries that would receive them. We are working on that too. I am working on it a great deal, and there are beginnings. I don't want to go into detail."
Netanyahu on Gaza:
Every Gazan should be free to leave.
What is this business of suddenly locking people in? What happened? Is this North Korea?
If you want to leave, leave. And they should be allowed to do so.
Netanyahu on Gaza:
I told our American friends, "You say you can find some international force that will come and disarm Hamas. Be my guest. Bring it."
They searched for another month, another month, another month, another month.
And of course, they found nobody.
Therefore, that mission will fall to us. It will fall to us.
Netanyahu on Iran:
I concluded that the only conceivable solution here is, of course, to overthrow this fanatical regime.
Just as the Allies went and destroyed the Nazi regime.
Hitler tried to obtain atomic bombs. He didn't succeed.
The only way to stop these Nazis, or these neo-Nazis in Iran today, is to eliminate the regime, to overthrow the regime.
