Superhuman speed 👀
Our hand rotates a nut on a bolt at super high speed, fully in real time with no edits. This is possible because it’s fully backdrivable and torque transparent so it adapts naturally to the nut. The result is simpler, more reliable manipulation for software and learning systems.

Veo 3 debuts on the Artificial Analysis Video Arena Leaderboard in first place, with a significant lead over Google’s own Veo 2 After a day of voting, we can confidently declare Veo 3 Preview to be substantially better than Veo 2, putting Google well ahead of both Kuaishou's Kling 2.0, and OpenAI's Sora in our text to video leaderboard. We have begun testing Veo 3's image to video capabilities and will be releasing those results in the next few days! Veo 3 Preview is now available in Google Cloud Vertex AI Studio, Flow (Google's new AI video editing app), and Gemini for AI Ultra subscribers in the US. See the thread below for Veo 3 generations compared to other leading models in our Video Gen Arena 🧵

The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see. Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time. To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge. Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
We have received Breakthrough Device Designation from the FDA for Blindsight. Join us in our quest to bring back sight to those who have lost it. Apply to our Patient Registry and openings on our career page neuralink.com/

A street-level tour through a futuristic city which in harmony with nature and also simultaneously cyperpunk / high-tech. The city should be clean, with advanced futuristic trams, beautiful fountains, giant holograms everywhere, and robots all over. Have the video be of a human tour guide from the future showing a group of extraterrestial aliens the coolest and most glorious city that humans are capable of building.

My nerdiest use of ChatGPT with Code Interpreter: "Here is 500MB of Magic the Gathering data. Find interesting patterns. Look at how the AI figures out context, problem solves data cleaning, generates and tests results etc" Also, for players: power creep is real & biggest for ⚫️

The code interpreter feature on ChatGPT is the most mind blowing thing I've seen yet. All I did was upload a CSV of SF crime data and ask it to visualize trends(!!)

OpenAI's new Code Interpreter model is incredible for data visualization. I fed it an unpolished dataset of UFO sightings and it generated a fully-functioning HTML heat map for me. Here's a static version (it easily lets me create as many versions as I want)

So it looks like ChatGPT with Code Interpreter can do basically any visualization technique you ask. And you can tell it to make charts "more beautiful" (I actually asked it to generate artificial data to create the charts to show what they could do, which the AI happily did😬)

ChatGPT’s ‘code interpreter’ is kinda wild. Watch it segment music markets based on a spreadsheet and come up with business strategies for each segment!
