You're at a restaurant you've never been to.
Thirty items on the menu. No idea what's good and what to avoid.
I built a free web app that tells you exactly what to order in 30 seconds.
It's called The Inside Scoop. Here's how it works 🧵
I originally built The Inside Scoop during @danshipper & @every's "How to Build a Chatbot" course in 2023. It worked, but I had to manually scrape reviews.
But last year, tools like @boltdotnew let me easily connect to Google Places, @openai and @apify. Now it actually works.
I've been using The Inside Scoop at every restaurant I've visited this year and it's really helped me out - less stress and better food.
Try it out for free at insidescoop.co
It's the modern-day "I'll have what they're having."

With peaches now in season, here's a recipe for a refreshing Peach Confit with Mint dessert that I love making.
It's inspired by a recipe by Thomas Keller that appeared in @foodandwine many years ago. #recipeblock #recipeblocks #cooking #UX
Here’s a new RecipeBlock for a Frozen Strawberry Parfait that I’ve been making since I was a kid. It tastes like a more delicate version of strawberry ice cream.
A thread about the state of food recipes (Part 1):
I think recipes are highly undervalued. The fact that they can teach you how to transform a bunch of ingredients into something delicious and memorable is incredible!
@interkatie's Picture Cook is the only cookbook I've come across that includes fully illustrated recipes and completely dispenses with written instructions. The illustrations make the recipes so fun and easy to understand.
