Still processing the loss of my longtime friend, bandmate, and surrogate 'big brother', Chris Turner. We lost Chris just a few hours ago, he'd been battling multiple health issues for many years. My sympathies and love to out to his boys, Jesse and Billy, and his daughter Tilly.
and his BFF owns this platform.
this will be my last post here, not that I have much of late anyway. I've been over where the sky is blue, and the mastodons aren't extinct.
be kind to one another.

I feel like this may prove to be the most prescient cartoon of the 21st century.

This is my book. It’s the story of a poor kid from Jacksonville, Florida, who realized a dream through music. It’s a long journey through hard work, dedication, and luck. Playing guitar and writing songs has been my inspiration and purpose. It’s a story of hope, redemption, and gratitude, a testimonial that dreams can come true if you believe in yourself and follow your truth. It took two years to write, and it’s a labor of love. I hope you enjoy the ride!

I love this for two reasons:
A: with my hearing slipping away, I can relate;
2: I really miss #RikMayall
so I get a new credit card from #merrickbank. it arrives, I go to activate it last night, and get this "maintenance" error. today, 15 hours later, same error. total fail. card's gone in the trash.

I once had a gorgeous framed 5'x 4' print of this. it disappeared from storage during one of my overseas trips. those kids in front would now be in their 70's.
Sad to read of the passing of Greg Kihn. He was a longtime fave, my band covered a track from his very first album, then we got to open for him in San Francisco about 1980.

Another trip around the sun completed. I had a cruisy day & a wonderful baked salmon dinner with my Nashville family.
Evening was at my fave dive bar around the corner (big announcement soon on a new live music event there, hosted by yours truly). Do be kind to one another.
