💜We’ve got a new reason to tune into @C4Gogglebox Max is joining the sofa with his mum Sandy, becoming the first person with Down’s syndrome to appear on the show. And in Max’s words, he’s ready to “spread the love” and show what people with a learning disability can achieve.

Looks like Xbox cloud gaming isn't going to be the future of gaming after all. I could hit this limit in days (if I didn't play my games locally) Just got this email from Microsoft...

1/ Ride a motorbike? Please, wear an air vest. My youngest was knocked off his bike by a motorist. He was airlifted to hospital and has since had surgery. One of the worst experiences of my life.

Using the @AskNationwide app Went to Bumble Bees tea room and paid from joint account. When the payment cleared it shows as being from Bumble (the dating app). It’s a good job my other half knows I’m too mean to be spending money on online dating - could be awkward… 😂

Have you seen the latest edition of the Journal of Emergent Science on the ASE website? I heard Alex and Emily talk about concept mapping at the ASE conference. I think teachers of pupils with SEND will also find this interesting regardless of phase. ase.org.uk/resources/journal…

#TECHOGNITION! Kat Stear, Senior Science Technician: 'I have just been awarded Registered Scientist! I'm so chuffed! I would highly recommend applying for professional registration, the process was a lot less stressful than I thought it would be.' 👉 ow.ly/aqJ350Youmx

I got a flat tyre yesterday on a 70mph dual carriageway. I had the police come to me and @TheAA_UK arrived 90 minutes later. I dread to think how long it would have taken if I was somewhere safe. Strangely enough their followup survey didn't ask about response time...

For those of you worrying about the weather for #aseconf2026, it is chilly and frosty but no snow. Here's the view just a few miles away - I'll be rejoining the conference set up later this morning...

Are EHCPs driving the SEND crisis or a symptom of it? Is SEND demand in 2025 any larger than it was in 2010? Will scrapping EHCPs actually achieve anything productive? One of the best analyses of the SEND crisis I have read from @MargaretMulhol2 tes.com/magazine/analysis/ge…

I felt very honoured to be invited to give a talk about my "DNA Detective" books at the AGM for ASE Scotland. Thank you so much for inviting me ASE Scotland. I loved speaking with you all and best wishes to Susie Burr on her retirement. xxx

Does AI mean the end of online compliancy testing? I wonder how organisations that use online testing will cope? (It's not infallible though - I tested one question and Claude and Copilot gave different answers! 😀)
