I’m baffled by all the discourse around this. So many grown adults who don’t understand the concept of a courtesy invite
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys
If you politely decline the invite and your friend gets mad about it then you can complain. But an invitation is just a way to make you feel included. Most people choosing to do something like a birthday trip (or destination wedding) expect that some people wont able to come

Counter-take: The logic of international solidarity - that what happens in Brazil (from Amazon protection to viral pandemics) matters for what happens in the United States - has never in history been more plainly important.

everything i know about the zionist cheating scandal is against my will, but it’s really funny that people act like cheating someone is the worst thing someone could possibly do. when idk killing kids is worse
Too many people don’t understand aging. Not everyone is getting buccal fat removals and blephs they’re just getting older
