Anyone who has camped in serious rain knows how miserable it can be, especially when your attempts to keep the rain out fail. All you want is to feel dry again. When it’s cold it’s exponentially worse. When you’re with your kids, you feel awful for them as they shiver. Now imagine the tent is your forced home, the water keeps rising, and there’s nowhere to go to get dry or warm.
I admit that I completely broke down today. I cried uncontrollably. I couldn’t hold myself together after witnessing what I saw with my own eyes.
Today, we went to film a journalistic report inside the displacement tents along the seashore. I swear, what we witnessed was beyond what any human being should have to endure.
I saw men crying bitterly. Men I had never seen cry when they lost their children or when their homes were destroyed. Today, I saw them crying because they were powerless to do the simplest thing: protect their children from the water and the cold.
We spoke to families who told us they had spent the entire night carrying their children in their arms after floodwater covered the floors of their tents and soaked their mattresses. They couldn’t find a single dry place to put their children. They couldn’t even give them a few hours of sleep.
I saw children no older than five, without proper clothes to protect them from the cold, without heating, and without a dry place to sleep. Children shivering inside tents that cannot keep out the rain, protect them from the wind, or provide even the most basic sense of safety.
What more must happen for this world to act? How much more suffering must people endure before someone remembers that they are human beings?
I am sick of this world. I am sick of its hypocrisy and empty slogans. To hell with a world that talks endlessly about human rights while leaving children to drown inside their tents. To hell with everyone who has witnessed this suffering and chosen silence, and to hell with the governments and institutions that have the power to act but continue to turn their backs on us.

Daily reminder to the Democrats that if you continue your attack on Angie Nixon you will Fck around and find out what that 64/68 realignment feels like in 2028.
She carried the state while you hacks stayed on the sideline refusing to support her financially.
SHE did that on her own accord and sweat equity.
Mess around and see what 10% loss of the Black vote will do.
Think we wont? Think we cant?
You better think again

On a small island in a Swedish lake, archaeologists in the 1950s dug up something that had absolutely no business being there.
It was a Buddha. Made roughly 5,000 km (3,100 mi) away, around 1,500 years ago.

This is legit how the American People feel right now. Accountability isn’t revenge. It allows for healing and progress. We can address affordability AND hold them accountable for fleecing the American People.
Folks are struggling and we haven’t seen the worst of it yet because all the horrible things go into effect next year.
Keep your foot on their necks folks!

Every single talking head running their trap claiming that @AngieNixon "caused us to lose Florida" line up below so I can bully you. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand did NOTHING to help her. Vindman sat on millions that could've secured the win. You all CHOSE to lose Florida.

We have this utterly childish taboo in our political discourse on discussing of how violence aimed at the US or Israel is the result of the massive bloodshed and killing of innocents the US and Israel bring to the world.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

Jesse Watters just had a light-switch moment on Israel
"We give them money so they can buy our weapons, so it's kind of like a way to launder money to the defense contractors. A lot of the Muslims that are now in the country just don't like to see US financing of Jews killing Muslims."

I certainly don't speak for the Black community. No one does. We're rightly decentralized
But America will not benefit from having the first Black Speaker of the House being a servant of Zionism
Black folks and humanity would be better served not having a "milestone" like that
