"But can't AI just be used to complete unimportant backgrounds or clean up animation?" No. Those are entry level positions that turn into long careers. Bg painters become art directors. Clean up artists become animation leads. Stop trying to cheat.

If anyone finds the start of the sentence "Mass reporting fan fics to an authority outside of fandom" is familiar it's because the second half of that sentence is "IS HOW AO3 GOT BANNED IN CHINA"

Tapas shutting down shouldn’t be the last update you ever get from your favourite creator. Readers spent years finding stories they love. Creators spent years building their audiences. We want to help you keep those connections. 💜 So, we built two ways to do that on NextChapter: 📚 READERS: Import your Tapas reading list, keep track of titles, and follow your favorite creators. ✍️ CREATORS: Claim your profile, bring your official links together, and tell readers where to find you next. Help new readers discover your work, too. Still deciding where you’ll publish next? You can claim your profile now and update your readers when you know. Please share this with a Tapas reader or creator. Let’s help them find each other before Tapas closes on March 31, 2027. The people who made Tapas worth opening deserve more than a goodbye notice.

So Zelensky took out a major Russian bot farm and social media traffic on X and other sites dropped by 50%. HALF of the traffic on social media is nothing but Russian propaganda bots and trolls. Things that make you go hmmmm.

i think this is so good for planning comic backgrounds for ppl who has a hard time visualizing camera angle options for individual panels... it's called guriri paint and is FREE on the microsoft store, they're saying they might bring it to steam

Tapas users will lose all purchased content and receive no refunds as the platform shuts down March 2027. The creators of Manhwas like 'The Beginning After the End' were never notified and are shocked about the entire situation.
