Some honorable mentions: Honkai Impact 3rd (simply had no space) BG3 + Dragon Age Inquisition (too recent) Assassins Creed Syndicate (feels wrong to shoutout given my attempt at 100%ing it meant it’s unfinished) Borderlands 3 (also had no space)

Awful news. I had a detailed dream about plying League of Legends. I was playing Lux for some reason, and while the map was wrong, I was using my abilities accurately the whole time. Had a thrilling escape from a Singed (who had accurate abilities as well), then a Teemo…

I want so badly to hop into the conversation about that cis-women-only valorant tournament happening but I don't have time because my thesis on the very topic of marginalized gender leagues is due in two days... the universe tests us all... I'll put brief thoughts below ⬇️🧵

my thesis is from an anthropological perspective, so i can offer two terms + related papers that might be useful for ppl with the spare time to do the reading -- i don't have time to summarize rn geek masculinity --> read TL Taylor "Raising the Stakes" starting around p.111

gender-zoning --> read the discussion of Lindsey Darvin et al "Breaking the glass monitor: examining the underrepresentation of women in esports environments" + sorry if i phrased anything imperfectly here, working on limited time and a limited character count.
