Top 20 Digital Marketers to Follow in 2026:
Most marketers follow 200 people and learn from none.
The fix is a shorter list of people who actually publish.
I've been doing SEO and marketing for 15+ years.
The people I learn from have one thing in common.
They show up every week, with real work attached.
Here are 20 worth following in 2026:
1. @neilpatel
↳ SEO data, tested and published constantly.
2. @aleyda
↳ Technical SEO and AI search, no theory.
3. @lilyraynyc
↳ Google updates, explained while they're happening.
4. @randfish
↳ Audience research and zero-click reality.
5. @amandanat
↳ Content strategy that works without rankings.
6. @MarketingProfs
↳ Writing that people actually read.
7. @TheCoolestCool
↳ Distribution. Create once, promote forever.
8. @searchbrat
↳ How AI is changing marketing teams.
9. @garyvee
↳ Volume and attention, posted daily for years.
10. @aprildunford
↳ Positioning for B2B products.
11. @davegergardt
↳ B2B marketing without the corporate filter.
12. @cmwalker
↳ Demand gen and pipeline, with the numbers.
13. @RichardvdBlom
↳ LinkedIn algorithm research, updated yearly.
14. Jasmin Alić
↳ LinkedIn copywriting, line by line.
15. @laraacostar
↳ Personal branding that converts to clients.
16. @thejustinwelsh
↳ One-person business systems.
17. @AlexHormozi
↳ Offers and growth, on LinkedIn and IG.
18. Sophie Miller (Pretty Little Marketer)
↳ Instagram carousels on social trends.
19. Ashwinn Krishnaswamy
↳ Brand and marketing breakdowns on IG.
20. Eugene Healy
↳ Brand strategy, short and clear on IG.
None of them got here with a viral post.
They picked a lane and published for years.
Consistency is the strategy. Everything else is tactics.
Pick 5 from this list. Not 20.
Then study how they repeat themselves.
Who did I miss?

HR and middle managers have done irreparable damage to our civilisation.

Lovable is a scam.
So is Replit, Base44, Framer, and all AI website builders.
These are for low IQ people who don’t know how to use AI and fall for SaaS marketing gimmicks.
You are paying a premium for less usage, shittier models, shittier websites, and hand cuffing yourself to a SaaS ecosystem you don’t control.
A $100/month Claude Max plan (or ChatGPT Pro) is a better solution BY FAR

running an agency is for retards
u work a glorified job but tell urself it’s okay because when u take Sofia on a date u get to say “I’m my own boss” and she says “it’s giving big dick energy”
U R AN EMPLOYEE
boil an agency down to first principles
u provide a service to business owners
aka ur clients control ur income
if one large client churns and ur quality of life materially changes, how different is that from getting fired?
that’s the exact dependency u supposedly became an entrepreneur to escape
so when u decided u wanted to become an entrepreneur
why was ur first instinct to build another structure where someone else still controls ur income?
truthfully, more likely than not, u were meant for a job
BECAUSE if u were actually the chad scaler u claim to be
u would take those same marketing, sales and operational skills and scale ur OWN operation
ur OWN offer
ur OWN equity
then use the monumental success of doing that to sell INSANELY high-ticket B2B on the backend while owning an asset with actual enterprise value
an agency can make u rich
but cash flow is not the same thing as ownership
the path to fuck-you money is enterprise value
equity
assets
something that can grow without every dollar depending on whether a client decides to keep paying u next month
if all u own is a client list that can fire u tomorrow
u are still an employee
just with better branding

i hate to tell u this
but no one outside tech twitter cares about ur landing page
u can have the most generic purple gradient ai slop and still win
normal people actually LIKE that stuff
the only ones who cringe are developers and indies
stop optimizing for twitter clout

i hooked my whoop to my work calendar to find which coworker gives me the most stress 🚨
thanks to fable, I reverse engineered whoop to pull per minute heart rate. nd matched spikes with cal events and attendees
I now have a leaderboard and I think about it daily.
few info masked for obvious reasons ;)

One of the most counterintuitive things I've learned about content:
The content that gets the most engagement is often not the content that generates the most revenue.

The funny thing about AI "killing" informational blog content is that it was never a viable SEO strategy to begin with.
It was a strategy that SEO agencies used to make it "look" like SEO was working.
They'd say:
"Wow! We ranked you for 'what is a standing desk' and your traffic is up 200%!"
Okay...
And how does that translate into revenue?
It doesn't.
But organic traffic is up, and the primary KPI for SEO is more organic traffic.
So it's a job well done.
That trick doesn't work anymore.
AI steals all of those clicks now, and that's actually a good thing.
SEO agencies can't trick their clients anymore.
They either need to improve organic revenue—as they should have been doing all along—or stop taking on clients altogether.
I really can't stand X right now. I hate being penalized for posting more.
I post in bursts, when I have time. But if you do that the algo deboosts your subsequent posts.
That is so anti-fun, anti-creative and I absolutely hate being separated from my followers because I like to talk.
I GOT 26M IMPRESSIONS AND 5,000 NEW FOLLOWERS
AND EARNED OVER $10,000
and this is only with one tool
i'm finally ready to share it
6 months ago my X account was completely dead. low impressions, zero opportunities. total burnout
then I built something that changed everything:
created my own personal AI content system - trained on my niche, my writing style, my best performing posts, and my voice
it’s not an autoposter. It’s a smart assistant that does 80% of the heavy lifting:
> generates 10-15 high-potential ideas in seconds (based on Claude and Grok analytics)
> writes killer headlines and article structures
> suggests formats that actually perform
> helps to write reply angles
the results after using it:
> wrote several articles that hit 26M+ impressions
> earned more than $10k in one month
> got hired as an AI advisor at two startups
> landed partnerships I used to only dream about
and it all started with a simple interest
I’m not releasing the full tool yet (planning to open-source it later)
but I can give you one of the most powerful skill I used to create my biggest viral articles (26M impressions)
download .md file, paste it into Claude or Grok, and try:

People are not leaving X because they hate posting.
They are leaving because the algorithm made the platform feel unusable.
You post, nobody sees it.
You search, accounts disappear.
You speak, the system decides your reach before people even judge your words.
That is not a town square.
That is a locked room with a timeline.
Chris M. Walker retweeted
This is the entire system I work to, it creates almost guaranteed revenue.
Identify your weakest variable using:
Revenue = Valuable Output × Distribution × Consistency × Market Fit
Spend 30 days fixing it
Set daily exposure target
Track:
Exposure
Conversations
Conversions
Price
using:
Revenue = Exposure × Conversation Rate × Conversion Rate × Price
Increase exposure until results become consistent and predictable
Example
Exposures - 350 (DMs)
Conversations - 35 (10%)
Clients - 7 (20%)
Price - £1500
Revenue = £10,500
If you want more, increase exposures.
It breaks down like this.
If:
Output is valuable
Market is real
Distribution is active
Consistency is sustained
Metrics are tracked
Then:
Performance becomes predictable
Revenue becomes engineerable
If not:
The system will expose the failure point
Correction is required before scaling
