IMO, if pro players don’t want to stand at attention and place hand over heart during the anthem, okay, but at least be still out of respect for the person(s) performing the anthem. They have worked hard to be able to sing the anthem at a professional event and deserve respect.
Corey Williams had an all-time dunk in this game! I stormed the Maple that day!!! #gopokes

First time at a @RedSox game and they win with a walk-off!!!
Young coaches……
Just watched the Anadarko coach leave the gym after their game carrying water bottles, towel and ball bag. Google him. If he can do it, we all can. Legend. Winner.
To the dad ripping the ref, who’s a college kid making some summer money, relax! It’s day two of a team camp, not the WCF. It’ll be ok…..
If a player is transferring, can they play with new school before June 1st? Or do they have to wait until their name is officially in the portal?

Every day at 7PM, taps is played over the loudspeakers at Dallas National Cemetery, just beyond the outfield wall at DBU
During every gameday at 7, they pause to honor the fallen troops buried just beyond the wall
One of the best traditions in sports
This is GOLD!!
SGA telling the story of Sam Presti giving him The Tortoise and the Hare book during his Sportsman of the Year speech is a must watch.
"I'll never forget when I first arrived at OKC and you gave me the book The Tortoise and the Hare. You explained to me the meaning behind it and I’d be lying if I said I hoped I didn’t need it at the time.
And boy were the next few years very, very rough. I think we won 25 games one of the following seasons and that was a lot. Eventually, when we started to weather the storm, I revisited that story and I started to see how it relates to my own path and our own path.
This past season, when we won the championship he gave me a statue of the tortoise, and that's a very Sam Presti way of saying 'I told you so.'
I keep that beside my championship ring, my MVP trophy, and thank you for that."

Roger Federer broke the internet with one statistic that will change how you see every setback in your life.
1,526 singles matches.
Won almost 80% of them.
20 Grand Slams. 103 titles.
Now answer honestly:
What percentage of total points do you think he won across his entire career?
70%? 65%? 60%?
Try … 54%.
He lost literally almost EVERY SECOND POINT he ever played for 24 years.
And still became one of the greatest of all time.
Watch him explain it himself (2:07 of pure life-changing wisdom):
“In tennis, perfection is impossible… When you lose every second point on average, you teach yourself to say:
‘Okay, I double-faulted — it’s only one point.’
‘Okay I got passed at the net — it’s only one point.’
Even a screaming overhead smash that ends up on SportsCenter Top 10… still just one point.
So when you’re playing your point, it has to be the most important thing in the world.
The moment it’s over — it’s behind you.
That mindset frees you to attack the next point, and the next, and the next with absolute intensity and clarity.”
Then he looked at the crowd and said the line that hit a billion people in the soul:
“The real sign of a champion is not that they win every point.
It’s that they lose again and again and again… and have learned how to deal with it.
Negative energy is wasted energy.
Cry it out if you have to. Then force a smile.
Move on. Be relentless. Adapt. Grow.
Work harder — and work smarter.”
Save this post.
The next time you lose a deal, bomb a presentation, get ghosted, miss a deadline, or just have “one of those days” — come back here and read it again.
You’re not falling behind.
You’re just in the 46%.
And the 46% is exactly where every single legend has spent most of their career.
Keep playing the next point.
