Change happens for those that want it to happen. Thank you for buying into the vision of USVSUS athletic program.
106 people showed up for Moments with Moms & Mentors!
It was a beautiful and moving night filled with love, support, gratitude, and legacy. Moments like these remind us that basketball is about so much more than what happens on the court.

Again, be better humans.
The idea that you can just say whatever to people, ESPECIALLY KIDS, without any sort of consequence bc of fandom is horseshit and it’s sad.
It is sports. This is crazy.
NEW: Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule says his daughter was accosted after the Washington loss:
"A guy walked up to my 13-year-old daughter and was like, 'F-U and F your dad.' I'm not going to keep coaching if it means my kids grow up screwed up. I'm not going to see my daughter shook... . I'm not coaching for the guy that attacked my daughter, I'm coaching for the people in the boat."
He added: "I said to my daughter, 'If daddy’s gotta retire, if I have retire because I don’t want you guys growing up in that environment...'"

Mission is to keep these kids in Mesquite. I have heard so much how many kids that have left over last 4-5 years, our feeders getting recruited in & outside, & so on. I’m aware of it, we have what we need & building our own. I hear often, that kid was here or lives here.

Bragging rights go to Agnew today! Congratulations on wins in both the 7th and 8th grade games.
Proud to see our feeder programs compete and come together afterward. Different sidelines today, the same future in maroon. At the end of the day, we’re all Skeeters!

Thank you to all the coaches who presented tonight and gave other coaches an opportunity to grow and learn. This was the first coaches clinic hosted and we had over 50 coaches in attendance. There was alot of collaboration and growth. It was a lot of fun!!! Good luck this season to all the coaches. I also want to thank my staff for their hard work behind the scenes. @Coach5coop, @coachk_watkins @alexisbeachum. Also, shoutout to our head football coach for always supporting the vision and empowering us. Not many football coaches are coming to a basketball clinic in the middle of season. Lastly, shoutout to @nmstallionhoops for being astounding board and helping put this together.
