Today's Supplier Showcase brought hospital pharmacy leaders to the Codonics booth, and the excitement around our 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗦𝗪𝗦) continues to grow! There’s something powerful about seeing the entire Codonics Medication Safety Platform in action: From 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 & 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—and understanding what it means for both pharmacy and anesthesia. For pharmacy, SWS is generating tremendous interest by bringing controlled-substance waste testing and reconciliation to the point of care. With pharmaceutical spectrophotometry providing objective, event-specific evidence of what was actually wasted, pharmacy gains stronger data for reconciliation and diversion oversight. For anesthesia, it means a faster, more consistent workflow that supports medication safety, compliance and completing controlled-substance waste and electronic documentation before moving on to the next case.
