I had a great Day 1 at #DHSI2024 today. I'm in the #DH for #Librarians course, and it's refreshing to meet other librarians who do DH and face some of the same challenges I do. It's also great sharing successes too.

Thrilled to see the ~70% of NYC vital records that have been digitized by the city are now finally showing up on other websites, too.
But even more thrilled that those websites correctly understand that NO ONE needs @nycrecords' "permission" to do it. 😁

Here's where the "Capture this View" button should show up in 3D view on Google Earth Web. That button when away with the latest redesign, and only shows/works now in Street View. Please fix this @googleearth.
The newest redesign of Google Earth Web did away with the "capture this view" button for 3D views & zooming in/out. This button only shows up now when using Street View. @googleearth please fix this.

When a story is created in @ArcGISStoryMaps using an institutional license and that creator separates from the institution, is there a way for them to export that StoryMap and then import it into another institutional account or personal ArcGISStoryMaps account?
