Yglesias hate is weird. His POV is pretty mainstream, is that his crime? His ‘wealth’ came after lefties chased him out of Vox—he dared sign a pro-free speech letter also signed by JK Rowling!—leading him to start a successful Substack. Lefties chased him into making $$ and now they’re bitter.

If Israel was for any reason unable to pay the billions it spends on fending off its genocidal neighbours with advanced, expensive defensive weapons, it would do so with less expensive weapons that would look a lot less like silent bursts in the sky. Be careful what you wish for.

This is true. Except for the Arab parties, nearly all of Israel’s factions agree on one thing: opposing a Palestinian state. The problem isn’t just about Netanyahu. That’s always been a cop-out to distract from a much deeper problem at the core of the contemporary Israel state.
