It's Refugee Week 2023 @RefugeeWeek
Here is a drawing portraying Habib, a Syrian Kurd who I interviewed (Dec. 2013) in his TV repair workshop in Domiz Refugee Camp. He told me that he used to be the best draftsman in his class and why he decided to stop drawing when he was 12.

Another #slczf2023 reveal! Ed Firth is behind Horny & High, on British chemsex subculture. Vol 1 was shortlisted in the @MyriadEditions 1st GN Competition. In 2022, he was 2nd in the Observer/Faber Graphic competition and, in 2023, is one of @brokenfrontier's Six To Watch.
Congrats to @inksplattery on Coma’s recent book birthday! It was shortlisted for the @MyriadEditions First Graphic Novel Comp 2018, published in 2021 and topped the 2021 best graphic novel @BBDPAwards... here is Zara herself celebrating her win.
