The SFI has registered a resounding victory in the college union elections at the University of Calicut, reclaiming MES College, Ponnani, and Fatima College, Malappuram, from the UDSF.
After six years, SFI reclaimed CPA College, Valanchery, from MSF. It also regained Pazhassiraja College, Wayanad, from KSU after two years, and Luminous College, Valanchery, from UDSF after four years.
At Nilambur Government College, SFI regained the union by winning all seats. At Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode, SFI made history by winning every seat for the first time.
SFI reclaimed Thrithala Government College from the UDSF alliance after three years. It also won all seats at Christ College, Thrissur, Kerala Varma College and Chelakkara Arts College.
SFI also reclaimed St Thomas College, where EMS studied, with a clean sweep, winning every seat.
