I live in Dubai with my wife. We are both from Kenya. We have been married for 4 years. No kids yet.
We hired a housemaid from Uganda last year. A nice girl, 24 years old.
My wife is a cabin crew. She flies a lot. Sometimes she is gone for 4 days.
For the past 7 months, whenever my wife flies, the housemaid acts strange. She cooks my favorite food, she wears my wife's perfume, she sits too close to me in the living room.
I always told her, "Respect yourself. I am your boss. I am married."
Last month, my wife flew to London for 4 days. On the second night, I came home late from work. The house smelled like my wife's perfume. Loud.
I opened the bedroom door. The housemaid was sleeping on my bed. On my wife's side. Wearing my wife's nightgown. My wife's expensive nightgown from Victoria's Secret.
I shouted, "What are you doing on my bed! Get up!"
She woke up and said, "Sorry sir, madam said I can sleep here when she is not around. The AC is better here."
Madam said? My wife said she can sleep on our matrimonial bed?
I called my wife in London immediately. I put it on video.
I said, "Babe, did you tell Aisha she can sleep on our bed when you travel?"
My wife looked at the camera, saw Aisha in her nightgown on our bed, and started laughing.
She said, "Yes, babe, I told her. She is a human being too. Let her enjoy small. You are always at work, let her sleep well. Why are you shouting?"
I said, "In our bed? In your nightgown?"
She said, "It's just a nightgown. Don't be petty. You men are so insecure. Are you sleeping with her? Why are you so bothered?"
I was bothered because last week I found a pregnancy test in the trash. Positive.
My wife is cabin crew. She was on flight for 10 days last month. She couldn't be pregnant. And I used protection with my wife last time.
So whose pregnancy test is it? And why is my maid sleeping on my bed in my wife's nightgown when my wife travels, with my wife's permission?
I checked the bedroom drawer yesterday. My wife's birth control pills. Untouched for 3 months. But she told me she takes them every day.
I think my wife and my housemaid are planning something. Or my wife is covering for her.
I fired the housemaid. My wife is angry. She is in London, shouting on the phone that I am wicked and that I fired her sister. She said if Aisha goes, she goes too.
She said, "You think I don't know you have been eyeing her? You want me to leave so you can bring her back? God will punish you."
I didn't eye anybody. I just didn't want another woman in my wife's nightgown on my bed.
My wife said she was going to a work conference in Vancouver. Monday to Friday. She is a marketing manager.
I dropped her at Pearson Airport on Monday morning.
Me: Have a safe flight, babe. Call me when you land.
Her: I will, honey. Love you. Take care of the kids.
Him: Love you too. I'll miss you.
I watched her go through security.
On Wednesday, my boss said, "Go to our Vancouver office for a quick client meeting. Flight tonight, back tomorrow."
I thought, perfect! I can surprise my wife at her conference!
I didn't tell her. I flew to Vancouver Wednesday night.
I called her when I landed.
Me: Hey babe, how is the conference?
Her:bOh, it's so boring, honey. So many presentations. I'm in my hotel room now, so tired.
Me: Which hotel are you in? I can send you Uber Eats.
Her: Oh, no need, honey. I'm at the Marriott Downtown. I'm good. I'm about to sleep.
Me: Okay, love you. Sleep well.
I took an Uber to the Marriott Downtown. I went to reception.
Me: Hi, I'm looking for my wife, guest name: Lisa Johnson. Conference group.
Receptionist: Let me check... No, we don't have any Lisa Johnson. No conference group either this week.
Me: Are you sure? Marriott Downtown Vancouver?
Receptionist: Yes, sir. No Lisa Johnson checked in this week.
I called her again.
Me: Babe, are you sure you are at Marriott Downtown? They said no Lisa Johnson.
Her: What? Why are you checking? Are you tracking me? Why are you calling my hotel!
Me: I'm just worried. You said Marriott Downtown.
Her: I said Marriott... Marriott... I meant Delta! Delta Hotels! I'm so tired I confused it! Stop checking up on me!
Me: Okay, sorry. Rest well.
I went to Delta Hotels. Same thing. No Lisa Johnson.
I sat in my own hotel room in Vancouver. My wife is in Vancouver for a conference that doesn't exist, in a hotel that doesn't have her.
I turned on Find My iPhone. We share location. Her location was ON. She was not in Downtown Vancouver. She was in North Vancouver. In a house. In a residential area. At 11 PM.
I took an Uber to that house.
I knocked.
A man opened the door. Wearing pajama pants. No shirt.

The interesting part of @meetmotes isn't just the NFT or the AI agent. It's how the pieces connect.
One NFT, one agent, one dedicated smart account.
That architecture raises an important question: how do we make AI-powered financial activity more accountable, secure and transparent?
I think the real innovation isn't simply giving AI the ability to act, but building the infrastructure that keeps those actions within the owner's control.
Good AI needs more than intelligence. It needs the right boundaries. 🧠

Tragedy in Spanish football. CD Tenerife forward Jesús de Miguel has passed away at the age of 30 after an on-pitch collision during Monday’s LaLiga 2 match against Andorra.
He suffered a cardiac arrest following a stoppage-time collision with goalkeeper Jesús Owono. Medical staff resuscitated him in the ambulance, but his condition deteriorated overnight, and he passed away this morning at 8:00 AM.
The match was abandoned following the incident. In a show of respect, the RFEF has postponed all of today's scheduled Copa del Rey and Copa de la Reina fixtures.
Rest in peace, Jesús de Miguel. 🕯️⚽️

Don't beat yourself up.
Some days you win, some days you learn.
And learning IS winning too.
You didn't fail today. You got data.
You didn't lose today. You got a lesson.
Both days, you grew. So stop punishing yourself for the days you were becoming.
Give yourself grace.

The @rarelistio Season 1 is still showing as TBA. That basically means the season isn’t closing anytime soon, so there’s still a decent window to get involved before things get crowded near the end.
Right now feels like a good time to actually start. You can focus on putting out quality content, grow your presence properly, and begin moving up the leaderboard without the last-minute chaos.
A lot of people tend to wait until the end is announced and then scramble by then it’s harder to stand out.
There’s $50K in rewards on the line for this season, so the earlier you start building, the better your shot at climbing and actually competing for it. No need to wait around for everyone else to pile in.
If you’ve been on the fence, now’s probably the time to jump in and start.

SOMEBODY REALLY NEEDS TO LOCK THAT WINDOW.
The Red Keep was supposed to represent power, wealth, and the greatness of ruling the Seven Kingdoms. But for some of the people who lived inside its walls, it became the exact opposite.
Helaena Targaryen and King Tommen lived generations apart, yet both ultimately fell from the windows of the Red Keep. Two people born into incredibly powerful families, surrounded by wealth and privilege, but also trapped in a world of grief, expectations, war, and decisions largely outside of their control.
It's an interesting reminder that having everything from the outside doesn't necessarily mean someone has peace on the inside. The Iron Throne gave people enormous power, but the families fighting over it often paid an even greater price.

My husband asked me to pretend we were happy when the police knocked on our door.
I thought he was joking. He wasn’t.
“Just smile,” he said under his breath. “Act normal.”
“Normal about what?” I asked.
He didn’t answer.
The knock came again. Louder this time.
When he opened the door, two officers stood there. Calm. Polite. Observant.
“Evening,” one of them said. “We received a call about a disturbance. Around 3 a.m.”
My stomach tightened.
