TNC California’s Forest Strategy Lead, Dan Porter said: “We’re grateful for Congressman Valadao’s leadership on the newly introduced, bipartisan National Prescribed Fire Act, which offers a clear pathway to accelerate the pace and scale of prescribed fire across the western U.S."
"By expanding the use of this proven tool, the bill will empower trained fire practitioners to safely reduce flammable overgrowth and help lower the risk of extreme wildfires.” valadao.house.gov/news/docum…
