Because honestly, if I told you the full story from beginning to end, some of you would think I made it up.
Maybe one day I’ll do a video and show every receipt, timeline, agreement, transaction and conversation from start to finish.
Because trust me…
What I’ve shared here is not even everything.
But if there’s one thing this experience taught me, it’s this:
Never invest based on friendship.
Never invest based on nationality.
Never invest because someone sounds convincing.
And never stop asking questions just because you’ve already committed money.
In Web3, trust is important.
But verification is more important.
And sometimes the most expensive lesson isn’t the money you lose.
It’s the people you bring along with you.
The End.

Because after speaking with other people involved…
I started hearing things that made me question even more.
And that’s where Part 3 begins.
At this point, I had already stepped back.
In my mind, I had accepted the losses and moved on.
Or at least I thought I had.
But the more conversations I had with people that were involved, the more questions started popping up.
The first person I reached out to was @Kenechuukwu_ .
Remember Kene from Part 1?
The guy that locked in with me from the early days.
The guy that invested heavily into the token.
I’m talking multiple BNB.
The guy that believed in the vision just as much as I did.
So we started comparing notes.
And what he told me shocked me.
Not because he had lost money.
At that point everybody had lost money.
But because our experiences sounded almost identical.
According to Kene, he had invested heavily into the token.
He had participated in the share purchases.
He had supported the project.
And beyond that, he had personally assisted the founder financially on multiple occasions.
Yet his experience ended exactly where mine ended.
Disappointment.
Confusion.
And unanswered questions.
Then he told me something that made me pause.
Apparently, I wasn’t even the only person that had helped with “medication money.”
At that point I just sat there like…
Wait.
Hold on.
How many people exactly have heard this same story?
Because now the similarities were becoming difficult to ignore.
Again, I’m only speaking about what people directly shared with me.
But the more stories I heard, the more uncomfortable I became.
The thing that hurt the most wasn’t even my personal loss.
It was realizing that people I respected and people I introduced had also suffered losses.
People had trusted my judgment.
People had invested because I believed.
And that weighed heavily on me.
So I decided to dig deeper.
At that point I reached out again to the co-founder at the time, @bigfem0x.
We spoke about several issues surrounding the project.
And during those conversations, I learned something that completely blew my mind.
The shares that myself and some of the people I brought in had paid for?
From what I was told, those allocations were not officially reflected in the project’s records.
Guys.
Read that again.
Because when I heard it, I almost dropped my phone. 😂
I was like…
Wait.
What do you mean?
You mean people paid money.
People bought shares.
People were issued allocations.
But those allocations were allegedly not properly reflected?
At that moment I genuinely didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Because if true, that meant some of us had spent months believing we had ownership positions that may not have been properly recognized.
That conversation changed everything for me.
Suddenly all the previous events started looking different.
The fundraising.
The delays.
The allocation issues.
The communication breakdowns.
Everything.
And before anybody says:
“Lunchman why didn’t you leave earlier?”
Trust me.
I’ve asked myself that same question many times. 😂
The answer is simple.
I believed.
I believed in the vision.
I believed in the builder.
I believed in the relationship.
I believed things would eventually work out.
That’s why I stayed longer than I should have.
And that’s why this lesson became more expensive than it needed to be.
Today, looking back, I don’t even see the biggest loss as the money.
Money comes and goes.
The bigger loss was trust.
The bigger loss was credibility.
The bigger loss was having to apologize to people I convinced to participate.
That one pain pass token dump. 😂💔
Now here’s the craziest plot twist.
After all of this…
After the failed launches.
After the arguments.
After the unanswered questions.
After years of silence.
This guy messaged me on WhatsApp last week. 😂
I looked at the notification and just started laughing.
Content Oracle 🔮 retweeted
So after everything that had happened…
The failed launches.
The missing allocations.
The unpaid services.
The endless promises.
You would think that’s where I finally drew the line.
Nope.
I still believed this guy. 😂
That’s probably the craziest part of the whole story.
Now you’re probably wondering:
“Lunchman, after all this, what finally caused the rift?”
Funny enough, it wasn’t even the token.
It wasn’t the shares.
It wasn’t the presales.
It was a $10 loan.
Yes.
A whole $10. 😂
Let me explain.
One day, which happened to be my brother’s wedding day, this guy messaged me.
Immediately I noticed something was off.
His voice was shaky.
He sounded sick.
So I asked:
“Guy, wetin dey happen? Why you dey sound like this?”
He told me he wasn’t feeling well and needed money for medication.
Normally, I would have helped immediately.
But on that particular day, most of the money on me was already allocated for my brother’s wedding movement.
So I told him straight up:
“Guy, I no really get cash now.”
But because I felt bad for him, I decided to reach out to a friend.
After all, na fellow Nigerian.
And as far as I knew, we were friends.
So I explained the situation to my friend.
Told him the guy was sick.
Told him he needed help for medication.
My friend asked a simple question:
“When is he paying me back?”
The dev replied and said he’d pay back by Thursday.
This conversation happened on February 23rd, 2024.
Based on that assurance, my friend sent him $10 from his school fees money.
School fees money o.
Not spare money.
School fees.
Thursday came.
Nothing.
The next week came.
Nothing.
Then another week.
Still nothing.
Every time we asked, there was a new story.
A new explanation.
A new promise.
At first I was patient.
Then I started getting irritated.
Not because of the money.
Let’s be honest.
Nobody is chasing someone around because of $10.
The issue was principle.
If you say you’ll pay on Thursday, pay on Thursday.
If you can’t, communicate.
Simple.
But instead, communication started getting worse.
Calls were ignored.
Messages were ignored.
Telegram ignored.
WhatsApp ignored.
Everything ignored.
On March 24th, I even sent him screenshots from my friend showing the situation.
No response.
At that point I decided to call him directly.
And this is where things got interesting.
This guy picked the call…
And immediately started shouting at me. 😂
I was confused.
Wait.
Hold on.
You borrowed money.
You didn’t pay back.
You’ve been ignoring messages.
Now you’re angry?
Wetin be this? 😂
I remember sitting there wondering if I had accidentally entered an alternate universe.
Because the whole thing made no sense.
We change am for ourselves?
How person wey help you come be the one wey you dey para for?
That was the moment something clicked in my head.
Not because of the $10.
Not because of the loan.
But because of the attitude.
For the first time, I stopped looking at isolated incidents and started looking at patterns.
And once I started connecting the dots…
Everything looked different.
The failed launches.
The fundraising rounds.
The missing allocations.
The unpaid obligations.
The constant promises.
The communication issues.
Everything.
For the first time, I stopped defending him.
And I started questioning everything.
At that point I decided to quietly step away.
But before stepping away, I had one difficult task.
I had to reach out to people I had introduced.
People who trusted my word.
People who invested because I vouched for the project.
That wasn’t an easy conversation.
Some understood.
Some didn’t.
One friendship that had lasted about 7 years didn’t survive the situation.
That hurt more than any token loss.
Money can come back.
Trust is harder to replace.
At that point, I thought the story was over.
Guys…
The story was not over.

This time chaos started.
People began asking questions.
What about our previous allocations?
What about Polygon?
What about BNB?
That’s when things got ugly.
We were told Polygon allocations wouldn’t be sent.
Only Arbitrum allocations would be considered.
I was like…
Guy, wetin be this?
We’re not talking about small money here.
Money had already gone down.
Meanwhile this same project still owed my company and myself for services rendered.
Back to the Arbitrum launch.
Beyond the presales, another token founder reportedly contributed liquidity funds.
Yet when the token launched, liquidity was extremely low and marketing was practically non-existent.
At that point, many of us started asking serious questions.
Then came another shock.
After plenty back and forth, only part of the allocation was sent.
And even that allocation was almost impossible to do anything meaningful with because of the liquidity situation.
At that point, I was frustrated.
I reached out to the co-founder at the time, @BigFems0x .
To his credit, he tried to help resolve things.
But nothing meaningful came out of it.
Eventually I just let it go.
Now at this point, you’re probably thinking:
“Lunchman, surely you’ve learnt your lesson now.”
Guys.
I did not learn. 😂
I kept talking to this guy.
I kept believing him.
Even after everything.
The real turning point came on my brother’s wedding day.
That’s the day everything finally clicked for me.
And that’s where the next chapter begins…
Content Oracle 🔮 retweeted
This dev @afrocanm almost ended my Web3 career. 😂
Before I give you guys the main gist, let’s go back to where it all started. (Grab your popcorn)
Way back in 2023/2024, I came across @GOARADIO_ through @Big2dor .
Back then, Tudor shilled it in a group chat where myself and @Kenechuukwu_ were members.
Tudor shilled it and we all locked in.
I remember we pushed hard because we were supporting our Nigerian brother. 😂
In fact, one of us in the group even dumped heavily on all of us and it caused serious quarrel between me and him because we felt betrayed.
Yet the rest of us didn’t dump.
We held.
Me especially.
Because of my background as a DeFi researcher, I’ve always had a soft spot for utility projects.
At the time, this dev was building a play-to-earn project and the token was $GOA.
I was intrigued.
Not just by the token, but by the vision.
So I kept investing.
Even as the token kept dumping, I kept buying the floor.
Premium mumu behavior. 😂
Around this same time, my friend @Kenechuukwu_ was also investing heavily into the token.
I’m talking over 2 $BNB.
Beyond him, I even got members of my community to buy because I wanted us to be properly positioned when the project eventually got things right.
For the love and support, I started jumping on their spaces.
Speaking.
Defending the project.
Promoting it.
Eventually the dev and I became friends.
Little did I know that the worst was still loading.
At the time, I was running a media brand called @content_oracle .
The dev and I started talking more frequently and he offered to partner with my project in exchange for equity for my company.
Documents were signed.
Everything looked official.
At that point, I thought I had finally seen my way out of the trenches.
I had no idea the trenches were just warming up. 😂
With Content Oracle, we started creating content for @GOARADIO_ .
We joined spaces.
Covered updates.
Pushed awareness.
The plan was simple.
They were expecting investment.
Once the investment came in, my team and I would get paid while still retaining our equity.
So naturally, we doubled our work rate.
And to be fair, the work was showing.
Some of the people around the project even commented that their social media presence had improved significantly.
I even had my face attached to the project as a brand ambassador.
That’s how invested I was.
And when I say invested, I mean INVESTED.
At one point, I used money I was supposed to use to buy a laptop to buy more $GOA.
Ahn ahn.
Mumu never finish for my body then. 😂😂😂
Sadly, the expected investment never came through.
Then came the first major pivot.
The dev announced that they wanted to migrate to another chain.
To make that happen, funds were needed.
So company shares started getting sold.
And because I believed in the vision, I brought people in.
My friend @Dillion_Empire bought shares.
My then furniture boss bought shares.
I bought shares.
We were literally sending this man money because we believed in what he was building.
Then came another opportunity.
A Polygon presale. (app.uncx.network/amm/sushi-a…)
Again, I gathered investors.
Again, people bought.
Again, we trusted the process.
Little did we know that things were about to go completely left.
From time to time, this guy would also ask for financial assistance.
And lowkey I’d help because, in my mind, na my Nigerian brother.
I trusted him.
I believed in the vision.
I believed things would eventually work out.
Plot twist.
My Nigerian brother apparently had other plans for me and everyone else that believed in him.
Things started going south when the Polygon launch failed.
After the presale.
After the fundraising.
After the promises.
The launch kept getting postponed.
Then eventually it never happened.
Then another promise came.
This time it was Arbitrum.
We were told investment was coming.
We were told to buy presale again.
Guess what we did?
We bought again. 💔
