The AI recruitment tools are *really* good at building lists of candidates but the best recruiters never struggled to build a list.
They are also *really* good at sending a TON of outreach but the best candidates rarely respond to spam - you might get lucky or manage to stand out.
Some interesting tech and some people are getting results but personally I think you need to build custom tools that work in a market you understand better than anyone else. Find what works and then iterate and build an edge other people don't have.
At @hirechain_io, we have tooling completely different from anything available on the market.
I'm not a dev and my GitHub looks like this. It's such an exciting time to work in recruitment - if you want to find your edge and have a team building alongside you to push the boundaries of what's possible then get in touch.

It is my pleasure to introduce UsePod.ai, my entry into the @colosseum hackathon.
UsePod is a two-sided marketplace for LLM inference. Independent operators run open-weight models on their own GPUs or bring their keys to other services (OpenRouter, Venice, etc.), set their own per-token prices, and earn USDC on every request served.
Users send standard OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible requests; they use the same SDKs, same base URL pattern. Centralized providers stay on as an always-available fallback.
Settlement is per-request, on @solana, no token required.

Very proud moment yesterday as we launch the first of our ecosystem job boards with non other than BASE!
A job board is a great way to support your ecosystem (or portfolio/community).
You can customise and deploy these for *free*. Invite companies, sync their jobs with external careers pages, manage candidates in our ATS or send them to whatever ATS you use now.
We'll be building on top of this and moving closer to Hirechain's end game - more on that in 2026.

Looking back to my first VC pitch for @hirechain_io...it was awful.
We had so many ideas and plans to build 20 different things that would all form an important part of the product.
It's very hard to turn that into a simple pitch and although I got better at it (and I'm still refining it) I definitely did better when oversimplifying the problem and solution.
Now some of the bigger pieces are falling into place and I've never been more excited about the product and the team.
We're building everything you need to hire the right people - fast.
