Had such a brilliant day in Brighton and the night was equally so as we attended the Alison Moyet in Conversation + Signing at Resident Music. 🖤

🇬🇧 Peter, a black cat, lived at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London from 1952 to 1964. He often walked onto the playing field when crowds were largest and appeared on television broadcasts. Peter died on November 5, 1964, aged 14. The 1965 Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack published an obituary under “CAT, PETER (THE).” MCC secretary S. C. Griffith described Peter as a cat who “loved publicity.” He is known as the only animal to receive a Wisden obituary.

This is a lovely read for me. Vain-glorious I know, but it’s remarkable when reviewers come, let alone are open to me. Thank you. X
