The Saints are going to arrive in Paris before the French military.
Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on.
“Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”

There are serious violent protests going on in Paris today. Been bad there for weeks now. The NFL needs to cancel their game in Paris because the safety of the players and coaches and fans needs to be their #1 priority. Disgraceful if they still have the Steelers game there.

Contract situation makes acquiring compensation interesting but with an aging roster and guys like Aaron Rodgers now more likely to move on, there are major holes to fill.
Wonder if it can all be done in 1 off season or are we looking at a multi year rebuild?
