If I’m Wareham I think I would be disappointed a bigger team didn’t come in. No disrespect to Wycombe, they’re in a better place than us so understand why he has accepted the move. Just feels like a 20 goal striker should be going to a promotion chasing club. #ecfc

I think people aren't aware of the scheme involved, and obviously aren't actually reading the statement, so they're interpreting it as hour club begging for free money, rather than informing the fans of what you're entitled to.

Mad that most Villa don’t seem to understand that the club aren’t asking for anything, they’re entitled to it

Through matters beyond our control we are set to receive a sum that many clubs haggle over for 5 minutes. This is apparently a huge issue for Villa who have sold over £300m of players this summer, and fans of other clubs for reasons I don’t fully understand #ECFC

What a lacklustre appointment. Count me out this season as it’s just rewarding failure.

Actually very glad Sonny Cox’s option has been triggered. Way over hated. I think he’ll do well next season - his work rate is top. Gotta value our own #ecfc

Aimson should never play for this club again. Dribbling the ball out for a corner last week now this #wafc

The irony is if you search Will Aimson's name on here, Wigan fans treat him far worse than ours ever did. #ecfc

Tristan Crama is the greatest player I’ve ever seen in a Millwall shirt. If either CM’s drop then he would do a job there too. He is literally a champions league player, playing in the championship.

There's something wrong with the system when a player with that bad output is in the most dangerous areas on the pitch

After 627 games, 106 goals, 5 Wembley visits, and 2 promotions, I’ve achieved more than I ever thought I could. I retire from professional football today with pride & gratitude for everyone that helped me realise my dream. I look forward to a new career as a Sport Psychologist!

I disagree, I actually liked Brierley and Doyle-Hayes - felt more creative wing-backs could’ve been the difference
