Ophea Board of Directors update. With the utmost gratitude for his contributions, Ophea announces John Dance’s departure from our Board of Directors. John is the Director of Education for Simcoe County District School Board, and proudly served as Ophea's President from 2018-2023 after joining the Board of Directors in 2015. During his time as President, John led Ophea through challenging situations with grace and humour while overseeing several important organizational milestones (such as our equity-centred strategy). As a coach and mentor to youth hockey, basketball and soccer teams, John has been awarded several coaching awards over the years through his involvement and passion for his Collingwood community. Along with his dedication to his family, John still finds time to pursue his passion as a hockey superstar! Images of John Dance, a white man with greying hair and glasses.
