Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!
Generates a meme with AI to argue that AI can ship with speed and quality.
Puts 6 fingers on the hand.
You don't need to choose.
Make something fun at the Epic AI #MegaJam and vibe your way to $50K. epic.gm/epic-ai-megajam-2026
Look, @TimSweeneyEpic isn’t entirely off on his crusade. While gamers want to know if they’re buying generated slop, the @Steam AI label is a one-hot classifier.
Zero-thought AI slop shouldn’t be bucketed with games where a solo dev used an LLM to help understand debug errors.
He’s certainly not my first choice when it comes to Sweeneys on the internet, but he’s not wrong, even if he’s not right in how he goes about it.
This is too common in the industry, not just social media scanning.
The “culture fit” interview round can often be used to discriminate. A manager cannot discriminate in hiring, but the decision is offset to a panel of thumbs up/down without traceability on their reasoning.

I guess I can say it now - so when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like.
I think the vertical loot treadmill problem in Forever could be mitigated if item stats/effects are either enabled or boosted when within the relevant content.
Within the content, the power progression fantasy feels significant, with only a marginal impact on the outside world.
"Run For Your Life" also refers to a specific debuff you get in certain encounters of the King's Fall raid, including against the final boss. Running the raid without this was doable but challenging.
Destiny 1 had this with old raid gear. Power effects were connected to shared mechanics within the matching raid.
Step outside or into the next raid tier, and your gear is only marginally better than others. You're effectively at square one again at the start of the next tier.
