Sherwood Library - looks great, but is it sustainable?
We are asking @MyNottingham to delay planning approval for this development until changes are made to the design, to meet the basic requirements that are contained in the City’s own Charter @CN2028

This is massive, and horrific. @NFUtweets is secretly lobbying the government to allow #neonicotinoid pesticides to be reintroduced after Brexit.
It tells its members: "Please refrain from sharing this on social media."
On the contrary, please RT.

This depresses me beyond words. Democracy my arse. I don’t & can’t believe that anyone in this country, whatever their political leanings, will have voted hoping our food standards & animal welfare would be compromised.
Government just voted with majority of 53 to strip amendment 16 from #AgricultureBill, which would have safeguarded food standards in trade deals - demonstrating beyond doubt that their promises are totally utterly & completely worthless - even when enshrined in their manifesto👇

This is me at the age of 2 in 2005.
Since then about one third of ALL our fossil fuel CO2 emissions have occurred.
Over half of our CO2 emissions have taken place since 1990.
That sort of gives you an idea of how fast we’re racing in the wrong direction.

With HS2 work continuing at a time of national crisis,
@BorisJohnson and the government must force HS2 to stop this non-essential work. HS2's brazen flouting of the lockdown rules is putting local communities and our amazing NHS staff in danger #NHSnotHS2

HS2 is flaunting the government’s own guidance to stay at home during a time of national crisis, continuing to operate in dangerous conditions & putting lives at risk. @BorisJohnson, please make work on HS2 stop to protect our NHS.

I’m liking this 1950’s window by Harry Stammers that I bumped into in Scarborough, up near the castle. Gorgeous purples and oranges, has to be seen to be believed #stainedglass #1950s #scarborough #yorkshireart
