Imagine if Sky News and the BBC interviewed an independent technical expert every time they interviewed a politician or regulator about technology regulation. The public would get more than a balanced debate. They’d see politicians and regulators forced to defend their claims against someone who actually understands online child safety, privacy, content filtering and account moderation. People would see how easily technical experts can expose legislation and technology mandates that are unfit for purpose, unnecessary because smartphones already provide the parental controls governments claim to want, and a threat to everyone’s privacy and civil liberties.
I’d like to expose the lack of technical expertise behind British online child safety policies, challenge Ofcom’s credibility, and explain why existing parental controls should be prioritised over compulsory identity verification. To anyone with expertise in online child safety, this is more word soup from another British MP. I’ve advised the British government on these matters, and I can say with confidence that despite their confident statements, politicians demonstrate a lack of basic technical knowledge. The same applies to Ofcom. After multiple meetings with Ofcom and the British Home Office about SMS fraud, I was told the Home Office would write to Ofcom asking it to stop misleading the public about SMS fraud because it was siding with mobile operators instead of the public. During my final meeting with Ofcom, I asked why it continued to repeat claims I’d already demonstrated were technically false, including through testing that involved every UK mobile network operator. My experience has left me convinced that Ofcom is causing more harm than good. The same problem is evident in the debate about online child safety. Smartphones already have excellent parental controls that millions of parents and schools use to block unsuitable apps, websites and services, restrict content and set time limits. Yet politicians and Ofcom continue to demand that tech companies redesign their services for children while pushing compulsory identity verification. They ignore existing parental controls that allow parents to protect their children without forcing everyone else to surrender their privacy and online anonymity. If child safety was really a top priority, why aren’t they teaching parents how to use these controls? Journalists should be asking politicians and regulators two simple questions. Why aren’t you educating parents about the parental controls already built into smartphones, which independent technical experts in child safety and mobile security consider highly effective? And why are you demanding that social media and other companies make their content safe for children while simultaneously arguing that children should be banned from those same services? You need to pick one. Making every adult service safe for every child is technically impossible. Preventing children from accessing unsuitable services is already possible through smartphone parental controls. Parents can decide what’s appropriate for their own children without forcing an entire country to surrender its privacy and online anonymity. The relentless push for compulsory identity verification, while ignoring existing parental controls, tells me that protecting children isn’t the real priority.

Our once beloved British Supermarkets, where torn to sheds by greedy globalist companies, YEARS AGO! Here are the principle shareholders, today: TESCO BlackRock inc - Vanguard Capital Management - HSBC Global Asset Management. Marks & Spencer BlackRock inc - Artemis Investment Management - Columbia Management Investment Advisers Morrisons Clayton, Dubilier & Rice - American Private EQUITY company, which is the worlds largest. ASDA TDR Capital Management - Mohsin Issa Sainsbury's BlackRock inc - Qatar Investment Authority - Vesa Equity Investment S.à r.l. HUGE Globalist behemoth BLACKROCK had shares in 3 of our supermarkets. Most of us have no idea about this & we just shop there out of habit & convenience. I still use them, if I need something the farm shop does not sell, but it absolutely breaks my heart, when I look at my fellow Big Supermarket shoppers today. And THIS is what I see when I look at supermarket shoppers, that really hurts... Ashen, grey faces etched with anxiety & worry, & glazed eyes devoid of a life spark, stare blankly at the food shelves. They are awfully overweight. Their hair is thinning & dull, & everyone looks so horribly ill & weary. They do not care any more, & shuffle around the supermarket aisles in their slippers & pyjamas. I am not seeing "people" I am seeing ZOMBIES! This hurts & I could sometimes weep. So now you know about the Big Supermarket shareholders, do you honestly believe they have our best interests & our health at heart? ALL they care about is PROFIT. & Big Supermarket, ULTRA PROCESSED, INDUSTRIALISED, mass produced, ultra low quality food they sell today, is loaded with chemicals & toxins, to extend shelf life, NOT for our health, is ultimately damaging. Our fruit is SPRAYED with Bill Gates "Apeel" spray to keep fruit shiny & fresh, when it is already rotting, inside. To extend shelf life & NOT for our health. So called "meat" pumped FULL of water & blasted with toxic gasses, is now filled with plant PROTEIN, THAT NON OF US ASKED FOR. Product packaging that screams the word "PROTEIN" so you will buy it, is most likely filled with ACHETA FLOUR, which is crushed INSECTS! There is an awful lot of protein in INSECT SHELLS. & EVERY time we shop, we are gifting our hard earned money to greedy globalist groups, who are all working towards humanity enslaving Agenda 2030. If you can, lovely people, PLEASE avoid these temples to disgusting, toxic food, known as the Big Supermarkets.

Your daughter is 15. She wants to join a group chat for her class. The app asks for a government ID and a face scan. Every parent is told it is for her safety. She now has a permanent digital identity tied to everything she says online. Forever. This is what online child safety laws build. Send this to a parent who still thinks age verification protects kids.

I try to protect my identity by shredding things with my name and address and other personal details. The gov digital ID/One Login system, blows all that open to anyone that can hack in by whatever means, technical or social. #together @Togetherdec @NoToDigitalID

Seems the WEF's plans are turning out nicely. France about to switch off some telecoms facilities. Doubt it'll be long before emergency powers will entrench a gov then the social credit system.

One good comment to the UK Online Safety Act consultation: age verification mandates are exposing UK Internet users to unbelievable levels of opsec and identity theft risk, drive people to the dark web, and could be abused by future govts. From: an actual software developer

Was that a lie from the PM in PMQ's about him scrapping Digital ID? Sounded very like one to me. @Togetherdec @NoToDigitalID

45% tax to pass a family business on to children? 100% in line with UN. All business to be in the hands of globalist enterprises. @UKLabour knows not what it does.

Isn't it odd how something with the name of "socialism" is so dehumanising? Same with "communism" being meant to be routed in community, yet killed so many.

Why do gov's waste time on their pet projects instead of keeping the country running smoothly? No one asked for digital IDs, bank accounts, censorship, and general repression. No one asked for the state to pivot to communism, but we're getting it.

🚨🚨They told you digital ID had been cancelled.... really? page 5, of The government’s plans for digital ID, under “Intelligence sharing” the Home Affairs Committee states... “Intelligence that is currently being gathered by digital identity providers should clearly be informing Home Office enforcement.” ... what?? The Government responded by confirming that the Home Office will continue working with the Office for Digital Identities and Attributes and private digital verification providers on how intelligence gathered through digital checks can be reported and acted upon. Now think about what that could mean... As digital identity verification spreads across employment, banking, insurance, mortgages, travel and other services, private providers could accumulate those records. Those records of your activities can include identifiers, IP addresses, timestamps and other verification metadata. And then they could be compelled to GIVE THEM TO THE HOME OFFICE. And the Government is explicitly discussing mechanisms for passing intelligence from those providers to the Home Office. I thought you should know this 🚨🚨

The insidious UN Agenda 21/30 is just the bringing together of the Globalist’s various mechanisms to deindustrialise & destroy the western economies/nation states whilst imposing ever stricter authoritarian rules on the Plebs. Power, control & their ultimate goal - one world govt

Pay close attention this isn’t really about the failed EU project. The EU openly admits that the UN’s Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals are at the heart of all of its policymaking. The UN sets the global objectives, the EU embeds them in its laws and policies and the people have no power to object! And Burnham wants Britain to align with more EU rules because the British public are being a bit messy! … Better to give them no choice and then blame the EU, than to allow citizens to fuck up the global plan! Can you see what’s happening?
