Crushing blow to Turkey at the UN!
Greece, the EU, Cyprus, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE have declared the so-called Turkish-Libyan memorandum null and void.
Voiced by Hellenic Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, the six stress it remains wholly invalid and contrary to international law, despite its recent ratification by the Libyan parliament.
Such practices, they warn, pose an extremely grave danger to the international legal order. Six voices, one united verdict.

Συναντήθηκα σήμερα με τον Πρίγκιπα Διάδοχο της Σαουδικής Αραβίας Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, στο Ριάντ.
Η συνάντησή μας επιβεβαίωσε τις στρατηγικές σχέσεις μεταξύ των δύο χωρών, ενώ είχαμε την ευκαιρία να συζητήσουμε τρόπους περαιτέρω εμβάθυνσής τους, ιδιαίτερα στους τομείς της συνδεσιμότητας, της ενέργειας και της άμυνας.

🇬🇷 🇪🇬 Greece and Egypt are reopening the EEZ file east of the 28th meridian.
Foreign ministers Gerapetritis and Abdelatty agreed to keep talking on waters left out of the 2020 delimitation, which only partially defined their maritime zones.
Any eastward extension toward Cyprus could mean a supplementary agreement. Working-level contacts come first, while Athens prepares parallel EU and UN moves after eastern Libya's parliament ratified the 2019 Turkish-Libyan memorandum.
Both ministers rejected that ratification, citing international law and UNCLOS. The 28th meridian is officially back on the table.
