Powerful visions birth movements that change lives. Today, we welcomed back @Tunde_OD , our chess champion, to Lagos.
His journey embodies the spirit of Lagos—resilient, ambitious, and driven to succeed. As we celebrate his achievements, we're inspired by his vision for empowering our children and youth.
Together with Tunde and the transformative power of Chess, we'll work towards a future where every child in Lagos has the opportunity to realize their full potential.
The state proudly supports his mission, purposefully providing resources to fuel this noble cause now and in the future.

Got this souvenir from @LagosSDGInvest Breakfast event yesterday.
The statue of the Lagos ‘Three Wise Men’ seen as you enter Lagos.
What does it mean ???
A renowned Sculptor, Dr. Bodun Sodeinde created the Legendary Statue to welcome visitors to Lagos State, under the leadership of the Military Governor Raji Rasaki in 1991.
Dr. Sodeinde consulted far and wide on traditional ways of greeting, which included personally meeting with the then Oba of Lagos.
The White dressing, the hand gestures from each of the 3 wise men, depicts the traditional greeting of Lagos.

I still wondered why EYO FESTIVAL which was part of the things that formulate an identity for LAGOS ISLAND have suddenly been abandoned.
We need to revive this culture before it becomes a forgone history. – at Ikeja, Nigeria

I'm glad this exists. I've been hoping it'll be done since forever. I'm also hoping that it gets done on a commercial scale and bring the price to the masses' level. Love it! – at Ikeja, Nigeria
