Going to piggy back on this comment because I agree 100%
You can win with average goaltending and a high end roster(ie: 2026 Carolina, 2023 Vegas, 2022 Colorado)
You can DOMINATE with elite goaltending and a high end roster(ie: 2020/2021 Lightning and 2024/2025 Panthers)
You simply cannot win with elite goaltending and a average roster
Every team that wins is usually a Top Analytical team. No team ever wins because they were 21st in xGoal% but their goalie was 1st in GSAx
A round or 2? Sure. Not a Cup

What exactly has he won?
#NYR owner James Dolan was asked on WFAN if he has trust in president and general manager Chris Drury:
"Yes, absolutely...Chris Drury is a winner."
"He and Mike Sullivan are installing a new culture into that club and that does not happen overnight. I'm being patient."

What drove this team straight into the ground is having eight first-rounders, including 1, 2, 7, and 9 overall, in a four-year span, and not drafting a single franchise-altering player. #NYR
Chris Drury is easily the worst GM in hockey. Don’t let people tell you it’s Barry Trotz.
Took over a team with arguably the brightest future in the NHL, and drove it straight into the ground in just 5 years.
There is little to nothing to be optimistic about.

Trouba looking at 10 here
OH MY GOD😳
Stefan Noesen is kicked from the game after this hit on Tage Thompson 💥 xitter.gq/BR_OpenIce/status/1886…
About 90% of the team having a down year but 79,55, and 93 consistently brutal

I’m sorry but there’s NOTHING…and I mean NOTHING that Zach has shown that leads me to believe that he’s the QB of the future for the #Jets
