๐บ๐ณ The #UNHumanRightsCommittee met March 1 - 26, reviewing the civil + political rights situation in 2 countries (Finland ๐ซ๐ฎ + Kenya ๐ฐ๐ช) and deciding 24 cases/communications where violations were alleged. Due to the pandemic, the Committee's work was exceptionally done online.
Introducing my new book, "I WAS INFECTED." Being diagnosed with Covid19 completely changed my life. This book is about a missing humanity in a new age and calls to our mind the human rights of those caught on the other side of our quarantine and disease control.
#ICCPR: UN #HRCttee will review report of #Kenya from 9 to 11 March. Among possible issues: Anti-corruption measures; access to safe & legal abortion services; human trafficking; effects of climate change on human rights.
