Today, the second episode of the @Arch_Afric space was held, where @treeonchain the Community and ecosystem growth was the guest.
Gave out a lot of alphas, educated the community on what @arch_prime is building and how they can be part of.
Some of the highlights are
1. Learn about Bitcoin and the technology behind BTC
2. Arch is making Bitcoin programmable by allowing smart contract execution on the ArchVM.
3. The Arch Ecosystem is builder-friendly and they are open to brilliant ideas that will support the ecosystem's growth.
4. For now the date for TGE is unknown, as the team is focused on going mainet any moment.
5. As of now the team hasn't decided if they are going to launch an InfoFi campaign yet.
6. Arch Africa is the number one community for the African community.
7. Stay bullish on Arch Africa by following all their socials for more updates on @arch_prime
8. The team will most likely prioritize mainnet users
9. For those that participated in the testnet, the team hasn't decided if there will be a reward for testers yet, but Discord roles could be used as multipliers in the future.
Thank you @treeonchain for your time.
@BryanXBT was a pleasure to have you too

Making profit is one part of the equation. Capital efficiency is what happens next.
@Arch_Prime explores how BTC can retain its market exposure while supporting yield strategies and borrowing utility, without selling the underlying BTC.

Post 20: Who do you trust instead?
Bitcoin has spent a decade trying to be useful, and every single attempt answered one question differently: who do you trust instead?
That is the real history of Bitcoin finance, and once you see it, every design falls into place. The first answer was wrapped bitcoin: hand your real bitcoin to a custodian, take a token back, and trust that the custodian still has it and the minter stays honest. The second answer was the federation peg: lock bitcoin on one side, mint on the other, and trust the federation running the peg. Stacks gave a third answer: a signer set that approves peg in and peg out, so you trust the signers. Lightning gave a fourth: trust only your channel counterparty, which is beautifully minimal, but it is payments only, with routing and liquidity limits that keep it from being a capital market.
Then came the designs that tried to remove trust from the answer entirely: optimistic execution with fraud proofs, validity proofs, staking scripts that never let bitcoin leave Bitcoin at all. Elegant ideas, each with its own price: challenge windows, data availability assumptions, a prover you still have to believe, or a script whose correctness is the whole ballgame.
@Arch gives a different answer, and I respect it precisely because it does not pretend to be the final one. You trust 51% plus of validators to be honest, you trust the virtual machine and program code to be correct, and you trust the indexer to be telling the truth about Bitcoin state. In exchange, execution produces native Bitcoin transactions, threshold signed and settled on Bitcoin itself, with no wrapped token and no bridge receipt in the middle.
Read the trade plainly, because the docs do: Arch trades trust minimization for speed and determinism. Fast execution on Arch, real settlement on Bitcoin, and a trust model you can actually name instead of one hidden behind a whitepaper adjective.
That is why I keep repeating the line that annoys the maximalists in both directions. Bridgeless is not trustless. It never was. The honest question was never whether you trust someone. It is who, and whether you can see them.

The financial system wasn’t built to give everyone equal access.
Arch Prime is changing that by building a network that puts financial power back in people’s hands.
Less gatekeeping, more access, more control.
The future of finance should include you. 🔺

In my previous posts, I explored the fragmentation problem in DeFi and why a more connected financial system could make a difference.
But identifying the problem is only half the story.
The more interesting question is how to solve it.
This is where @Arch_Prime comes into the picture.
Arch Prime brings together four core financial activities:
→ Earning yield on capital
→ Borrowing against assets
→ Trading financial markets
→ Accessing multiplied yield opportunities
Instead of treating each activity as an entirely separate experience, Arch aims to bring them together within a more integrated financial environment.
And the value isn’t simply having multiple features on one platform.
It’s about how those features interact.
In a fragmented system, moving capital between products can introduce additional transactions, fees, delays, and operational risks.
A more unified system aims to reduce these frictions and make capital management more efficient.
But combining financial activities also introduces a difficult challenge.
How do you manage the risks when everything becomes more connected?
Borrowing, trading, and yield generation all have different risk profiles.
Collateral can lose value, liquidity can disappear, market volatility can expose weaknesses that remain invisible during normal conditions.
When these activities interact, the system needs a coherent way to assess exposure and respond to changing market conditions.
This is where Arch’s Iron Wall risk-management approach becomes important.
The broader objective is to support a more coordinated approach to managing financial risk within an integrated environment.
Because a unified account alone doesn’t guarantee that every asset can offset every liability, or that a profitable position can protect another position from liquidation.
The underlying mechanisms matter, and certain questions need to be answered
How is collateral valued?
How are positions monitored?
What happens when markets move violently?
How does the system respond when liquidity dries up?
These are the questions that determine whether integration creates genuine value or simply concentrates risk.
The real innovation isn’t just combining financial products, It is making them work together without losing control of the risks.
That’s what makes Arch Prime worth examining.

1/ 🟠 Bitcoin can do more than just sit in your wallet.
What if you could trade, borrow against your BTC, and explore ways to earn with your assets—all in one ecosystem?
That’s the idea behind Arch Network. 🧵👇

Every lending market looks safe on a calm day. The real test is the worst hour.
That's where Bitcoin finance keeps failing: the closeout. The liquidation waits in line behind meme trades, then waits for a buyer in a falling market, then has to find dollars to close the debt. Three handoffs, and any one can break.
That's why fewer than 100,000 BTC sit in Bitcoin DeFi. Nobody lends at scale against collateral they can't reliably sell.
@Arch answer is to own that hour. Risk transactions go first. Liquidations run themselves. And Arch issues archUSD, the dollar the debt is owed in, so there's no scramble for dollars mid-crash.
It isn't risk-free, and the docs say so: Bitcoin can still fall, and backing isn't a price floor.
But calm days don't test a bank. Crashes do.

Learning ArchVM until mainnet.
To know is to be free.
Day 16 of ArchVM: what if some validators go offline, or act badly?
ROAST keeps signing moving even if some validators are slow or unresponsive.
It can also spot misbehaving validators and leave out their signature shares.
according to the @Arch 's docs the network tolerates fewer than 49% malicious validators.

I'm gonna keep it simple as possible.
Day 15 of ArchVM: why do validators have skin in the game?
Arch uses stake-weighted delegated proof-of-stake.
Validators are chosen in proportion to their staked @Arch , and they put that stake at risk.
Add threshold signing on top, and no single validator can sign alone.
