The purpose of social media is to connect, build, engage and share values with one another.
People need to understand that the world is changing rapidly; what used to work before no longer works anymore. Trends are moving rapidly.
Very soon, people will rate your generosity and kindness on social media based on how you engage or follow back.
We will see celebrities having their follower count go to zero because they feel too big to engage with their followers or even follow back.
It's not a prediction, it's a spoiler.
Engagement is the new currency.
Massive protests across Germany over the weekend, with some demonstrations degenerating into riots, looting and attacks on the police.
And my question to those who are constantly pushing the anti-immigrant narrative and blaming France's unrest on migrants because France supposedly opened its borders is this:
DID GERMANY OPEN ITS BORDERS AS WELL?
Germany also experienced violent unrest, yet the protests were largely driven by young people's concerns about education, the cost of living and compulsory military service.
So, can we have an honest conversation about what is happening in Europe without turning every incident of civil unrest into an immigration debate?
Germany has a substantial immigrant population, and German officials have raised concerns about the backgrounds of some people involved in the violence. But that does not establish that immigration caused the protests or the riots.
This is precisely my point. You cannot conveniently blame immigration whenever something goes wrong in France, Germany or any other European country while ignoring the actual circumstances surrounding each incident.
If we genuinely want to understand these events, we must examine the facts rather than manufacture narratives to suit an anti-immigrant agenda.
Not every problem in Europe is caused by migrants.
Since the opposition in Nigeria started witnessing the campaign activities and political mobilisation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, particularly the crowds they have been pulling across different states, I have noticed a pattern.
They have seen the scale of the mobilisation, and rather than focusing on presenting their own ideas, policies and programmes to Nigerians, some of their supporters have resorted to celebrating violent statements, intimidation and paid attacks against people who choose to support the ruling party.
They are quick to dismiss these incidents as angry Nigerians expressing their frustration. They excuse people destroying APC banners, campaign posters, vehicles and other party materials. They find ways to justify the intimidation of people simply because they are campaigning for the APC.
Their paid influencers, reporters and bloggers are even celebrating some of these incidents, presenting them as evidence that Nigerians are angry.
But imagine the situation were reversed. Imagine APC supporters were destroying opposition campaign materials, attacking their supporters or preventing them from campaigning. Would these same people describe it as angry Nigerians expressing themselves? Or would they immediately start talking about dictatorship, intimidation and the death of democracy?
You cannot demand freedom to campaign for your preferred candidate while celebrating the intimidation of people who support another candidate.
Political competition is not a licence for violence. Nigerians have the right to support Tinubu, Peter Obi, Atiku or any other candidate without being threatened or attacked.
And one thing I believe these developments reveal is how much anxiety exists within some opposition circles about the scale of the APC's political mobilisation.
If you believe in democracy, defend the right of every Nigerian to campaign, regardless of the political party they support.
The man that asked Nigerians to vote for him because he is fit, has ran abroad for treatment because he couldn't withstand a 2 minutes gym session 😂😂😂😂

Must he be the Governor before he can stay where he develop?
Tinubu live in Lagos after been the Governor but your agulu fraud move to Lagos after making Anambra a desert
Cryptic Hybee retweeted
Why are all your billionaires in Lagos instead of the Anambra the agulu fraud makes a heaven?
Opposition keeps wasting their money paying people to destroy the Billboard of the ruling party, instead of campaigning.
I like what he is doing.
Others should keep pretending and deceiving themselves because they are afraid of the ekukes.
Politics is tribal.
And the priest has chosen to support his tribes man with his full chest.
Dear Mr. Utomi,
Simple answer to you your question, is YES.
Here is mine to you.
Is anyone in your family living or doing business in the state that Peter Obi governed for 8 years?
Why are you, or any member of your family not staying in Anambra State governed by Peter Obi?
Have you used your mouth to praise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu before?
To Nigerians in the diaspora who defend the corruption, hardship and decay Nigerians are being forced to endure under this government, I have just one question for you:
If Tinubu's administration is truly as "wonderful" as you claim, why isn't your family back home enjoying the benefits of this "beautiful" government?
Why should Nigerians at home endure what those defending the government from abroad wouldn't want their own families to experience?
I would love to see your answers.
One of the reasons majority of Peter Obi's supporters are criminals, is because they know that he is a weak man who will give them a field day if he becomes president.

I have few things to say about your take:
Firstly, it took a lot of efforts to expunge the "tainted blood" narrative from our community.
We hosted spaces and reached out to people who engage in it.
It's an imported phrase.
Please for any reason, don't use it on any Yorùbá person.
There are people with full Yorùbá parents who behave like Bastards, are they "tainted" too?
Secondly, the people you classified in this tweet did not choose their mothers.
The only time we reference their mother side is when SOME behave like bastards and we need to investigate why.
Thirdly, are you aware there are Yorùbá conservative members who have mixed parents and are fighting this battle with us?
As much as we want to encourage our people to marry within our ethnic group, we should not attack innocent people indiscriminately.
Take for example:
Adeleke with an Igbo mother said he's supporting PBAT because he's Yorùbá. No other SW governor with full Yorùbá parents could say it.
That does not mean he won't move mad in future and we won't reference his mother's side if what he did wrong is in that direction.
The most important thing is loyalty bro. That's why we preach conservativism.
The ones who grew up with half Yorùbá parents should choose where they want to be loyal to.
Same goes to men who have married out, it's all about controlling your home and not forcing your mistakes on us.
That's the message bro.
Consider the fellow Conservative on your right hand with half parent.
I could have made this private but I want others to read this.
Good morning and God bless you.
You are just realising Abi?
You see the way you people created Wike and it later backfired against you lots.
That's how Peter Obi and Alex Otti will also backfire.
We will be here when that time comes.
This is just the beginning.
To the people that wants me to support someone that their children are not supporting or campaigning for, against someone that his children and that of the opposition are supporting.
I say a big WAKA to you!

Eight years as Anambra Governor, yet Peter Obi admitted he built no new schools, claiming he focused on rehabilitating existing ones. But where are the results? At this point, it’s hard not to question whether some of his loudest supporters are genuinely convinced or simply on paid gigs. No doubt!
