THE BINANCE HACK JUST SHOWED THE POWER OF NOT GIVING UP ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL Binance got hacked, but Tether made a smart move by freezing USDT associated with the hacker’s addresses. Think about that for a moment. The hacker may successfully steal assets, but once Tether blacklists an address holding USDT, those USDT can effectively become unusable from that address. This is a power Tether has because USDT is centrally issued and its contracts retain administrative controls. And this is exactly why I've always said that renouncing a token contract isn't automatically a good thing. The same principle applies to Giant Token ($GTAN). Because we haven't renounced the contract and retain administrative controls, the contract has the ability to blacklist addresses and restrict blacklisted wallets from selling/transferring $GTAN, where the contract's blacklist functionality applies. Imagine someone exploits the ecosystem and steals a massive amount of $GTAN. Would you rather we sit there helplessly because the contract was renounced, or have the ability to blacklist the malicious address and protect the ecosystem? This is the power of NOT RENOUNCING A CONTRACT. Of course, such power comes with enormous responsibility. The community must be able to trust that those controls will not be abused against legitimate holders. Centralization has its disadvantages, but moments like this also demonstrate why emergency administrative controls can sometimes become a security feature. Sometimes, what people criticize as “control” is exactly what becomes useful when something goes terribly wrong. SECURITY IS ALSO PART OF BUILDING.

The synonym for VOTE WISELY is PETER OBI. VOTE WISELY. When the rain is ready to fall, it doesn't ask which roof it should fall on. Its impact will be felt by everyone, regardless of the choices they made. But if you choose otherwise, who am I to stop you? After all, everyone has the right to make a choice. But... hmmmm. Sometimes, the consequences of our choices speak louder than our explanations. Make body no tell you?🏃🏃🏃

Read and be updated guys
All Giant Wallet systems are officially back online! Both deposits and withdrawals are now working perfectly. Over the past few hours, we've been carrying out major compliance upgrades to ensure that Giant Wallet continues operating within the financial regulations of the countries we serve. One thing I want everyone to understand is that building a financial platform is not just about writing codes and making transactions work. There are government regulations, banking policies, and financial compliance requirements that must be followed. We cannot afford to ignore these things. For now, everyone making USDT-to-Fiat withdrawals has been moved to Tier 1, which allows you to withdraw up to ₦2.7 million (approximately 2,000 USDT) daily. However, in our next Giant Wallet update, you will be able to upgrade to higher tiers, allowing you to withdraw as much as ₦50 million (approximately 36,000 USDT) daily, subject to verification. We are not just building a wallet that works today. We are building something that can stand the test of time. Thank you to everyone who has remained patient and supportive. We keep building!

I pledge to Nigeria my Country. Hmmmm. Wahala be like 2020🤔🤔 President Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve $20.51b and €1.45b in external borrowing to address funding gaps in the Federal Government’s 2026–2027 supplementary borrowing plan.

So 0.8% is now too high for a token swap fee? 😄🤣😂 Even Trust Wallet, with all their millions of dollars and years in the industry, charges fees around this range depending on the swap provider and route. My brother, please feel free to find another wallet and use, abeg. You must not use Giant Wallet. 😄 It's becoming very clear that you have probably never built a tech product before. If you have, please prove me wrong by showing us what you've built. Because I genuinely don't know many builders who understand infrastructure, APIs, payment processors, liquidity providers, servers, compliance and maintenance costs who would look at 0.8%–1% and conclude that it's outrageous. And regarding fiat deposits, the fixed processing fee isn't even Giant Wallet's fee. Our payment-processing partner charges 1 USDT per transaction for processing the Naira-to-USDT conversion. My brother, feel free to BUILD YOUR OWN. We will come and use it. 😂 Build yours, make everything cheap, maintain it, pay your providers and developers, keep the infrastructure running, and still make it sustainable. BUILD YOURS AND MAKE IT CHEAP, BIKO. 😄😂

I want every Giant Wallet user to pay serious attention to this. We have noticed that some users, when trying to deposit Naira into their Giant Wallet Virtual Accounts, mistakenly select Paga Microfinance Bank instead of NOMBANK Microfinance Bank. Please understand something: In Nigeria, two different banks can have the same account number. What differentiates them is the bank you're sending the money to. @TheGiantWallet uses NOMBANK Microfinance Bank for its virtual accounts, NOT Paga Microfinance Bank. Before making any deposit, please cross-check the bank name, account number and recipient name displayed on your Giant Wallet. If you select the wrong bank, your money may be sent to an entirely different account, and Giant Wallet may never receive that payment. We cannot credit a deposit that never reached our payment system. If you have already transferred to the wrong bank, contact your sending bank immediately and report the transaction. Please, take an extra few seconds to verify your banking details before sending money. It can save you from losing your hard-earned money. We are building Giant Wallet to make crypto transactions easier, but users must also take responsibility for verifying their payment details.
