Polymarket users have been getting their wallets drained all day today
Over $2M has been stolen just today
This is what we know of the attacker so far:
Earlier today, a random empty wallet started gaining new funds
These funds started out in small chunks of a couple thousand dollars
Within 30 minutes the wallet was already at half a million
A little after an hour the wallet peaked with $2.68M

Users have been reporting withdrawals they never took, and there are rumors Polymarket's frontend was compromised
A similar event happened in June where $2.94M was stolen from 11 different wallets, luckily Polymarket reimbursed the victims
Hopefully Polymarket recovers similarly here
