Housing, food, education and healthcare are all human rights. Having to choose between paying rent and eating dinner is an act of violence. Not being able to access decent healthcare is an act of violence. Being unable to afford an education is an act of violence

House (1977) dir. Nobuhiko Obayashi Absolutely chaotic in the best way possible. It’s one of the most unique films that I’ve seen. The editing, the colours, the special effects, everything is so beautiful and unbelievably weird, my eyes were glued to the screen. I loved it.

LFF Day 4: Look Back ✅ The anime adaptation of Fujimoto’s masterpiece is one of my favourite movies ever and although Koreeda did a great job adapting, I would still recommend the anime first to anyone who has yet to come across this story. Still loved this though!
