Grateful to have had an amazing (and successful!) viva experience today. Thank you to my examiners who were challenging in a way that got me talking about things I've been so invested in for years. And huge thanks to my supervisors @colin_mccaig and @JonDeanStuff. Now for cake.
We got some great and varied perspectives on the 'business' of WP here, including my bit on the context of enactment for third sector orgs. Take a look! 👇👇👇

Young people aren't choosing biology or chemistry because they're easier - they're more likely to choose them because young women are told that "women can't do hard science or maths". Perhaps @Miss_Snuffy would like to stop guessing and read our research: discovery.ucl.ac.uk/id/eprin…

ALT Tweet from Katharine Birbalsingh: "My guess is that our girls who haven’t chosen to do physics and instead chose biology and chemistry is that they don’t want to do the hard maths in physics Why should we force them to do physics when they don’t want to? Those who want to, are thriving in physics- that’s great!"
