In DeFi, managing risk starts before liquidation, thatโs why I mostly lay emphasis on understanding the basic fundamentals to how to enter a position especially when using leverage.
Donโt borrow to the edge of your liquidation threshold. Leave room for volatility.
What I like about @CurrentSUIโs approach is that the protocol also accounts for what happens after things go wrong:
โ Partial liquidations, capped at 20%
โ Calibrated incentives
โ Professional liquidators
โ 10ร stress-tested infrastructure
โ ADL as a last resort
Users should manage their leverage. Protocols should be prepared for the downside.
Thatโs how liquidation becomes a risk-control mechanism, rather than another source of instability.
