For @LAReviewofBooks I wrote about William H. Gass's The Tunnel, one of the great American novels. I worked very hard on this. Thank you to Annie!

This is against Texas law. Do not do this. If I can find the county this man lives in. I will be filing a complaint with the district attorney's office. in accordance with the Texas election code's enforcement provisions.
Crystal Lake is a bolder show than it's getting credit for. Starts as fan-appeading IP stuff (which is fun), then gradually becomes a weird paranoid thriller that risks upsetting fans with "unnecessary" re-writing of backstory and explanation no one wanted. Good stuff.
Hilarious.

Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? is really good! Super pacing. Great music. Winters goes so hard, just wonderful stuff.
I was going to watch The Killing Kind (never seen), but also I want to watch Prince of Darkness (seen many times).

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They should all be released immediately.
To be clear: Palestinians face far worse consequences every day. These detentions by the IDF are one more attempt to undermine Palestinians’ right to harvest their olive groves, travel on their roads, and live in their homes. Yet one more element of escalating, and very clearly state-sponsored ethnic cleansing.
We’ll update on their status as soon as we hear.
So everyone working for the Israeli government and military just decided to not even hide being evil anymore, huh.
