If you’re an emotionally turbulent Christian, one thing that can help is having an anchor scripture to respond to your (recurring) emotional triggers.

Here's what I tell founders:
60%+ in index funds.
DCA so you never watch the market.
Stop when you hit 3 years of cash.
Keep your expenses low.
Some light investments in physical assets.
Keep alternatives like crypto under 5-10%. If a 20% drop stresses you out, you're overexposed.
Boring on purpose.
The goal isn't the optimal investment strategy.
It's sleeping well at night so you can make the highest ROI decisions in your business.
Your company is the high-alpha bet. That's where your real returns come from.
Your liquid net worth is what lets you keep playing when things go sideways.
Scared money makes scared decisions.
Keep the home fortified so you can play the long game.
If you can outlast.
You win.
You can want someone in your life without wanting every possible version of a relationship with them.

I feel like God isn’t playing nowadays. If He wants you alone, you’ll be alone. If you can’t leave, He’ll allow them to leave. If you hesitate, He’ll place you in a position where you have no choice but to choose yourself and Him. He’ll make your schedule so full that distractions fall away. He’ll place you in situations where you realize you can’t take another step without consulting Him. Slowly, your mindset will shift. He’ll remove the lenses so you can see people for who they truly are.

So, you would rather have a young single Pastor pretend he has no physical, sexual or emotional needs while pastoring a congregation filled with women, knowing fully well how easily some women become emotionally attached to and idolise their pastors, than have him remarry and build a life with a wife of his own?
Or do you genuinely believe that divorced Christians are condemned to a life of celibacy because remarrying somehow disqualifies them from God’s grace?
Are divorced Christians supposed to remain unmarried for the rest of their lives, or do you think they automatically go to hell if they remarry? Lol.
