Hey @OctopusEnergy I submitted meter readings yesterday afternoon but not had a bill generated yet nor my balance reduced. How long should it take.

The tories cut fuel duty by 5p a litre and the price of petrol hardly went down. It was eaten up by the supply chain, same thing would happen here.
If only there was something our PM could do about fuel prices other than a google maps update… 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ @grok how much profit have UK fuel companies made over the last 12 months?

Hot dogs are a post Costco shopping activity, every European knows that.
The European mind cannot comprehend a Costco hot dog cart attachment.

You can tell he believes the PR, trust I know are saying there home brew stuff is better, faster and cheaper and doesn’t need pwc at £3k a day to implement.
This is absurd. Palantir tech saves lives. If the NHS can’t interpret its own data well it will continue to deliver substandard care. In Florida, Palantir software has more than halved sepsis deaths. Down 68%. It spots trends early that humans can’t. Abandoning that for ideological reasons is *insane*.

That’s nasty as anything, for the sake of £100 they could have got some one to knock something up. #aislop
Take That were fantastic in Manchester last night but was really disappointed by the use of AI. Especially as the show itself highlight so many other important art forms, like puppetry!

Not only were the polls open from 7am to 10pm, he could have requested a postal ballot or a proxy vote if he was showing to be away.
Builder Cameron says he "would have voted Restore" if he could get time off work. "It has always been a two-party system. Voting for Labour or the Conservatives will get us the same insanity." @mrmarkdolan | @SamaramGill

This is one of the dickheads in power when they banned huawei, did nothing about planning conditions for new mast to support 5g now prevented 5 mobile networks being reduced to 3 preventing competition. And one of the mergers ended up with a monopoly on fixed line and frequency.

Top tier rage baiting by the Mayor here.
This morning we are introducing COGE — the Commission on Government Efficiency.

This Commission will find ways for our city to work smarter, faster, and more effectively for working people.

New Yorkers deserve a city government as careful with their money as they are.

Hi @monzo doing some travelling round Europe on a cruise and will be in a different country most days. How can I stop my card being blocked? Zero fees for currency exchange will be very useful.

Oh no not The Guardian, did he have hummus with him?
My security team just found this journalist from The Guardian at my property. This is exactly why I need security. Completely unacceptable.

Did you know @dresserman that @asda stopped doing create your own pizzas last Friday. Really stupid mistake from whoever signed that decision off, especially with cost of living and it being an excellent proposition.

Can't imagine a UK politician doing something like this, seems only minor but has a big impact on people.
Hey New York, no one likes unnecessary scaffolding. Thankfully, we have a plan — and John Wilson is here to help break it down.

I'll take things that didn't happen for $500
After 9/11 I had European friends confused that we would spend time, money and effort digging up the bodies at Ground Zero. What's the point, they said. But it's what Americans (and, ahem, Israelis) do. We love life, we care about our dead, and we don't leave anyone behind.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No documented historical reports support claims of widespread European confusion over post-9/11 Ground Zero body recovery efforts. Europeans undertake similar thorough recoveries, as after the 7/7 London bombings where extensive identification and burial efforts occurred. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_20… bbc.co.uk/news/resources…

Support ticket unanswered (not even an acknowledgement and you can't see historic tickets on the site), tweet unanswered, some people have had an email from @youfibre I've had nothing. Shockingly poor service.
Replying to @youfibre
@youfibre absolutely made up with my first invoice from my migration. Seems like I’ve been charged for multiple services on the same line.

Every single one of these 3 points is spot on, people want to do it down but complain that tv is rubbish these days. We need SNL, and full credit to @skytv for taking the risk.
even if you hated more sketches than you liked, this show is so vital for 1) live music on British TV, there's barely any shows doing it 2) sketch comedy on British TV, there's barely any 3) getting new faces on British TV, there's barely any shows giving people a shot #SNLUK

They don’t protect the customers or support the market, they fail everyone and we’re all poorer for it

Can see the massive racists are trying the same thing they have been trying to do with London now that NYC has muslim mayor.
We spent the last few hours in midtown and it’s totally changed since NYC’s new ‘mayor’ took office. Like a ghost town but with a dangerous vibe. Twice someone came up behind us in an intimidating way. No cops in sight. Locals are not out and even tourists are thin on the ground as they can’t possibly feel safe. @BrianOSheaSPI
