The Flyers did indeed postpone Thursday's scheduled Chalk Talk for STHs w/Tocchet & the rest of the coaching staff. The email -- which came in the form of a letter from Dan Hilferty -- doesn't directly say why, but notes the coaches are focusing on the games ahead.

Michael Bunting should never get more PP TOI in a game than Matvei Michkov. Cannot justify that. Many, many things to pick apart -- the Flyers play dumb and reactive hockey, for one -- but that jumps off the page on a team that can't buy a goal.

I do not understand why the fourth line is getting shifts at that point of that game. They've gotten killed tonight. Jack Studnicka is a quad-A player. Bunting clearly is out of sorts. And they go out on the ice and immediately give up the likely GWG.

How Michkov played his entire life vs what Tocchet and the Flyers org. have been trying to make him play are completely different. Go watch his game footage from when he was 16 and up. Look at where and when he was scoring and watch as the Flyers have slaughtered his creativity.
